Tutorial - Xsplit setting fixes for Lag issues or Frame Dropping

So I have an avg. Of 9 megabytes and and I can only stream on 1270 or what ever the best 1200 is and it tends to skip for the viewers I dont know much about this but I also have a download speed that I believe should be higher than that but not the case

When i try to livestreaming my total bytes was 2343,22 and become 10,15 !!!! Whats the problem ?

xsplit now doesn't show preset on general settings :O how do i fix that then? My Internet upload speed is 0.77 T_T but i have a good computer. I use 400-500 bitrate to stream

Does this fix framedrops in Xsplit Gamecaster too?

I keep the canvas at 1080p as to avoid multiple scaling Operations. I set my output resolution in the encoder settings. Also, setting the fps to 29.97 in the canvas and ditto for the encoder makes a HUGE difference. Also, on x264 you don't want any faster than very fast preset but slower than that is diminishing returns. Hope that helps.

Hey I was streaming one night smoothly . And then the next day it's 1 frame a second

my general settings are different

My issue is navigating gamecaster is VERY LAGGY and also when I try to record everything is EXTREMELY LAGGING! But when I play I don't have ANY of those issues.

XSplit update really sucks! I can't zoom in as much anymore AND my webcam lags like old school Yahoo IM and shit. WTF?! How do I fix this nonsense?!

Hey i have mostly a 10+mb upload. I don't lag when I play single player games and some multiplayer, but some multiplayer games viewers tell me I lag a lot. I have the same settings for both game types.

omg...i have had it on superfast for a long time xD lel.....so I have 51.72 mbps uploadspeed....what should my Bitrate be on??

I got issues on iracing no matter what resolution i select.
I can't just use the built in game capture feature due to triple screens being used for iracing.
I actually have to select a scene and select my middle screen since I'm using triple monitors to play this game but only want to broadcast the middle monitor.
It does work but every resolution seems to make the game lag. Regardless of FPS and ping etc. Connection is awesome and it only has issue when broadcasting on any resolution.
Additionally I do not seem to have all the settings options your showing here. NO ability to select bitrate,fast/slow/ or any of those under general settings I only have a few check boxes to select for hardware acceleration or using flash audio etc.

Any ideas ?

Im using Xsplit and trying to stream at 3440x1440 60FPS on an ultrawide screen with a GTX970 and i7-4790k and my livestreams lag a lot, i have 70Mb Download and 16Mb upload and still lags, any suggestions? also the all the cores reach 100% usage as soon as i turn stream on.

My footage is lagging on local recording but only when i play the video back but not as im recording real time

my version of xsplit looks different from this video, is there a different section that I could look to find the resolution. my stream is laggy and I want to see if I can lower the resolution

Kind if late but is 21mbps upload good for 1500 bitrate or should I lower it?

i have a 20.15 upload speed what should i put the bitrate

I'm in Australia but it only finds us severs is there a way to change that ?

BRO I HAVE A DELL INSPIRION 15R 4TH GEN I5 WITH 8 RAM  100 MBPS DOWNLOAD 35 MBPS UPLOAD ,BLACK MAGIC INTENSITY SHUTTLE WITH USB 3.0, LIKE I GOT ALL OF THIS GOOD STUFF AND IT STILL LAGS I EVEN PUT IT IN 240 P BRO AND IT WAS LAGGING IN 240P WTH AND IT ONLY LAGS WITH I STREAM .IF I LOCAL RECORD IT IS CRYSTAL CLEAR I DONT UNSTAND

on my xsplit screen quality is fine! but when i stream it lags like crazy and has awful quality like 144p! please help? i only stream in 480p and stream with low bitrate?!?!?!?!?!?
