Magnetic north moves. Does he mean you are at the North Pole or at magnetic north? I'm going to assume he means magnetic north, since you would be one mile west of your starting point if you were at the North Pole.
ОтветитьOn earth duh.
ОтветитьThat is a trick question, but that does not say anything about a person or his qualities,
I would first see what they want, i mean the people who are really interested are not their for their income but try to solve difficult situations together. They want to work there for the challenge
Do you want to work for me?
Yes.
You're a m@ron
THIS WILL CHANGE WHEN THE WOKE MANDATE HIRING DEI STAFF.
ОтветитьWhat a load of b*ll*x
ОтветитьIf thinking this is even close to reality...
ОтветитьWhat fictional garbage
ОтветитьThe answer is not the north pole. The answer is bsolutely anywhere you damn choose. The idea is that north and south are extreme ends and because earth curves as a globe, one mile here, there and up again puts you in the same spot. The problem is that the world is a sphere, a globe, a ball. This means, any damn point on the globe can be pointed as north or south if it were not for magnetic fields and two coldest places on earth. Even if you were to argue based on accepted alignment of north, south, etc latitudes, it would still make south pole as the second available option.
ОтветитьThe first question to ask is IF THEY ARE REALY GENIUS PEOPLE WHY DO THEY HAVE THE NEED TO BE HIRED BY SOMEONE ELSE!? Why they aren't making companies of their own if they are truly genius people!?
ОтветитьWhat an easy question.
ОтветитьI ask all my applicants
One question .
What is 10% of 20 .
90% could not give a correct numerical answer .It was initially not asked as a math skill question . Of the other 10% ,... 90% answered
$ 2 .
Even great math skills cannot make up for the inability to listen .
This was a sales position .
Without walking one mile east you will not end up where you started. The North Pole is nonsense.
The answer is: The surface of the earth.
I’m so tired of trying to prove myself to others. I honestly feel like I’m only responsible to myself.
ОтветитьAnother version of that old question is "You leave your cabin and trek south for 20 miles. Then you turn due East & trek 20 miles, where you see a bear. You immediately trek 20 miles north, back to your cabin. What color is the bear?" It's white because your cabin has to be on the North Pole & the only bears there (actually not a true bear) is the polar bear.
ОтветитьThe north pole. It is obvious by the time he finishes asking the question. Musk gives himself too much credit for intelligence. Spherical 3-D geometry. (BTW, the triangle he walks will have a sum of angles greater than 180 degrees!). Here's a better one.
You are in a windowless room with 3 light switches labeled 1, 2, and 3. At some point, you have to leave the room which locks behind you and go down the hall to another room which has 3 light bulbs labeled A, B & C. You have to say which light bulb is controlled by which switch. How do you do this without fail? This is one of the older Microsoft trick interview questions.
Your style is so chic! 🔥 Have you considered DTF printing for adding quotes to your apparel? @fastdtftransfer
ОтветитьThere but for the grace of God goes Elon Musk.
ОтветитьHas to be a triangle ... so I believe North Pole would do it.
ОтветитьI’d only hire the coyote.
Ответить🌏🙏🙏🙏 Elon Musk destroyed my family in 2019.
Thank God I know the truth behind the who tried to destroy my family
Why that question is ridiculous is that if you walk a 1 mile distance 3 times, and make it a triangle shape, you can be anywhere in the world and accurately answer that question. It doesn't have to be a specific location. I figured it was probably one of the poles, but couldn't figure out why it would be narrowed down to that. I don't see how the answer needed it to be the north pole. Walk 3 -1 mile distances but cut across on the last one. Where's my job?
ОтветитьHe is just creepy
ОтветитьI would have said that i was still on the surface of the earth.
Ответитьlol my answer was still on the surface of earth
ОтветитьThe question can be made significantly more difficult. Walk a mile, turn right, walk a mile, turn right, walk a mile. You end up where you started. Where are you? There are more than 2 answers.
ОтветитьI am in this building 😅
Ответитьanswer: Mt. Meru
ОтветитьHe should hire someone smart enough to tell him that turning mankind into radio controlled robots is a BAD idea!
ОтветитьI have absolutely no comprehension of it 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьHe had a teacher like mine. We got ask that question in 1986. Kind of a trick question but a few space/ sci fy people knew it. I know he was not the first person to ask it and it has no bearing on what you know. He probably saw it on some bar trivia contest.
ОтветитьYou must have been at the North pole. There is only one place where you can do that and end up making a triangle. Actually something that looks like a slice of pie.
ОтветитьI ask do you believe in God ,if they say what Elon does that they believe but think God is neutral to our existence that shows arrogance and ego,if they say no I think they are dumb or evil,if they say yes I think they are someone I might enjoy ,honestly it can take years to get to know someone and even then you may never truly know anyone. Elon is not that smart just saying so his ego and his face make him look gross.
ОтветитьHe question at the beginning was not asked correctly. If you are on the surface of the Earth and you walk one mile South; one mile West and one mile North and end up where you started, where are you?
ОтветитьThere is one thing Elon Musk Tesla execs are 'genius' at; and that is in reducing the population from all the deadly outcomes from when their EV's catch fire.
ОтветитьI'm 99% shadow banned on X so I am unable to ask where migrants with room temp iQ's can find work.
ОтветитьBut the real answer... let's say you're starting somewhat north of the SOUTH pole (seems safer to walk on anyways), exactly 1.159155 miles north of it, then head south 1 mile, close to south pole but still 0.159155 miles away. Now there is still a westward direction available for continuing. And walking it for 1 mile will take you in a circle around the south pole to exactly the same spot from which you started the circle. Now go north 1 mile, and you're back to where you started :) You could also start walking anywhere above the polar sea and wait for the huge-ass ice shelf beneath your feet to carry you east for 1 mile while following all the other directions. Wait, does ice count as earth's surface? Maybe the south pole is the only true answer as it has land mass beneath it.
ОтветитьI dont see how that question requires genius to answer correctly.
ОтветитьHi incels!
ОтветитьThe questions here are really mundane. Even if he did ask these I don't think the questions themselves are that interesting. It would be a much better video if we got to see some of the answers from people who passed, and some of those from people who failed.
ОтветитьIf you know or quickly realize the lines of of longitude are not parallel and that they converge at single point at the poles you’ve figured 98% of it out.
It is also interesting to note that the sum of the 3 included angles drawn anywhere on a sphere will be greater than 180 degrees, as opposed to an equilateral triangle drawn on a perfectly flat surface, whence the sum will be exactly 180 degrees.
You hire genius people so that the boss doesn't need to think at all.
Ответитьokay Elon I like you and I didn't at first, but after I had watched a couple of your documentaries about your past and how you got to your current moment my opinion of you changed....
I just happened to have a problem with the answer to your geniusquestion (in the video it is the north pole)
"So" you walk 1 mi South 1 mi West and 1 mi North you don't end up exactly where you started.
Reason: (which you left out) you would have to infact additionally go one mile East to get where you started.
reference... "you're standing on the surface of the Earth"(not explaining an exact location)
direction... 1mi.South - 1mi.West - 1mi.North (this would have the final location exactly 1 mile West of your starting location !) so my answer would have to be you are still standing on the surface of the earth which is inherently where you exactly started, the given three directions are only elements of distraction not pertaining to the question but crucial for assessing an individuals ability to "focus" and "discerning" skills.
The north pole riddle? Is this a joke?
ОтветитьWonder what Elon thinks about Toyota s new water burning engine,,,,,probably thinking about how to keep it off the market
ОтветитьOk, so genius who work for minimum wages... Not sure I understand...
ОтветитьDoofy question, the planet is too large for you to end up at the same place. If a small globe maybe yes... but not on our planet.
Ответить
