The prices in the Georgian supermarket are just crazy. Most of the products are more expensive than in Germany.

The salary in Russia and basic prices of goods are just the same as in the Philippines except if you buy an imported goods then it is expensive. However to eat cheap, street food is way to go where in Russia street food not so many. Americans going to these countries find it so cheap that they can splurge like millionaires.

It would be much more interesting to see price of the imported goods.

It will be pretty hard to find a man in Russia if you are a woman, I guess when the war is over people in the West will be able to get 2 Russian women paying only for one on dating sites.

Most of Russian men seem to claim to be “apolitical” and refuse to discuss anything controversial. However, when 1420 pressures them with mildly political questions, they will start talking what their brainwashed brains speak to them! Some even refuse to talk and walk away; possibly fearful of being arrested. I’m American and am interested in what real citizens are doing day to day and what they think of the War, Russia as a terrorist state, and what they think of Putin. 😊

People get confused as to why food in Europe is more expensive than in Russia. The reason is that European energy costs have increased due to the war, which affects production and logistics costs. The exceptions will be imported goods which will be affected by the weaker Rubel. This is also why Tbilisi prices are higher than St Petersburg as more food has to be imported.

Bread handed to you with no plastic bag or covering= exactly how bread was purchased at the bread shop in Moscow until the late 90s at least... how times have changed! I marvel at how breads and meats are now wrapped in plastic, just as we do in the US, which just seemed so wasteful to local friends back then.

It would have been great if an actor didnt start a war with Russia; but hey did. Things could have been so great between nations but greed and zelensky ruined things.

Food Items you showed in Russia are 3 to 5 times cheaper than what I pay for in Canada. In Tiblisi, some food items are about the same price, some are half the price of Canada

Great to see a price comparison video. Dima did a great job! I understand that most guys sent to war are from rural areas but over 320,000 are dead and over 500,000 wounded or missing. They are still being replaced, just not as a mobilization. So I'm quite worried about that.
