I'll be interesting to see how it competes with the recently launched Ineos Grenadier and how that model may potentially steal customers away from JLR.
ОтветитьI am sure it will end up in the garage like all the other crap landrover produce...........
Ответитьits nice car how much this
ОтветитьIt definitely fills a certain segment in the market, but it isnt the same as the old defender fills. I cant see any of the farmers etc i know being able to afford or wanting to buy this.
ОтветитьThat’s a Toyota prado land cruiser, no where as capable as the original Toyota land cruiser
ОтветитьNice review. I appreciated this reviewer's opinions on this new Land Rover Defender. Thank you very much!
ОтветитьThat’s the problem with the defender. It’s trying to please everyone. It’s just another lifestyle Land Rover and it’s tech makes it a problem off-road.
ОтветитьI could afford one, but I won’t be buying because they are vastly overpriced.
Ответитьjuat another discovery really whats the point of an all rounder when you already have one
ОтветитьExcellent in depth review. Spot on.👍
ОтветитьReally comprehensive thank you - I have the 90 MHEV First Edition D250 and I still learned a great deal more about it from your video than I ever did before.
ОтветитьBest review I’ve seen. Good work.
ОтветитьWhat's the coast of the latest land Rover
ОтветитьBoom! Need this when I get to venture Rural Africa, but carjacking in that part of the world scares me. They should have an Africa Edition bullet proof the works
ОтветитьBest automotive review I’ve ever seen.
ОтветитьOh we got stupid music here time to look at someone else's review.
ОтветитьThe absolute most informative and well done review I’ve seen. Well done Sir. I’ve just turned 21,000 miles on my P400 and it’s been absolutely Wonderful. Oh one thing , the rear seats do fold all the way down . There is a strap in the fold between the upper and lower sections. Pull that strap up and the lower section can be folded forward allowing room for the upper back to fold all the way down and seat evenly with the rest of the rear floor. Cheers
ОтветитьBest reviews: Can you review the base 2l 4Cyl Petrol with Coil springs
ОтветитьWhy would he talk in PS (pferdestarke) it is mostly irrelevant to the majority of people. the majority of people use HP or K/W and most would have no idea what PS is. The majority of the world is on the metric system and why i tend to listen to non brit/usa presenters.
ОтветитьVery nice car. Only one thing is very expensive though. Kind of unaffordable to simple poorer people. Only for rich people can afford. Of course it is real British.
ОтветитьI love the Land Rover Defender but reliability is a B*tch.
ОтветитьAre you saying this is better than a Toyota Land Cruiser?
ОтветитьAbsolutely awesome!
Ответить.
ОтветитьI am amazed you can remember all of the information supplied with this vehicle! P200, P300, trim levels, etc. You have done a great job sir! Thank you!
ОтветитьBest review on the defender. Looking forward to owning one.
ОтветитьThis review is unmatched by ANY car performance review I have EVER watched. Where the is the closet LR dealership to me. I want one. . . . .
ОтветитьIndia launch Date
ОтветитьAwesome review job
ОтветитьThis car is amazing but because of the horrible reliability history of land rover, I'll pass.
ОтветитьA great British vehicle owned by Tata (Indian) and manufactured in Slovakia.
What a load of bollocks these guys are talking !
Fantastic presentation as ever. Not sold on the car though, I'd take a prado instead please.
The one thing I just can't get past is the rear lights. Do I really count eight lights on the back that do the exact same thing, when two would have done the job?
In South Africa, this thing sells for R1,2 - R2,5 million. That is twice the price of the older one when it was new a few years ago, or about the same price as a low mileage Ferrari 458 Italia. Here, the real Defenders are everywhere. You mainly see millionaire housewives driving this thing around. Extremely disappointing really... And yes I know it is capable, but you will not see this thing hauling firefighters up the mountain, or doing anything particularly useful. Land Rover enthusiasts have been left no choice but to move over to Toyotas.
ОтветитьLet's go rover
ОтветитьShame it’s so ugly.
ОтветитьRichard Hammond said it best. ‘It’s the best Discovery they’ve ever built!’
ОтветитьThe new 110 is a fabulous ride but sadly for me the diesel engine drones and rumbles after a while.
ОтветитьBest Defender review ever?!
ОтветитьLet’s just hope it turns out to be reliable. The JLR track record isn’t great.
ОтветитьNice clip, I just wish there was a bit of a gap in between the technical talk and maybe a bit of music instead of the relentless technical talk. I just lost interest after about a third of the clip.
ОтветитьThe new Defender while good is not as good as its older brother.
There was nothing wrong with the old Defender, all it needed was a few modern creature comforts added to the interior and they should have left everything else alone completely. The old saying applies "if it aint broke don't fix it".
This redesign was done intentionally as have all off roaders as of late… it was done to target the urban community. No one is building dedicated off road vehicles anymore. There's a reason while the old defender was so popular it was rugged you could beat the hell out of it physically and mechanically and it just kept going.
The other big issue with the new defender is the fact that you cannot put in after market which on this vehicle. Even when ARB was contacted about this they say they have no ability or any plans for doing so in the future. Land rover themselves if you call your local dealership ask them if they can fix one to the front of the vehicle will tell you they can't. I am sorry but this is just piss poor planning and performance on Land Rover's part.
I'm in the camp that the vast majority of everyone within the land rover community is this new defender is blasphemy.
Give m e a 88 any day, modern vehicles are ugly as ....
ОтветитьAmen.
C'est bien.👍👍👍
How on earth does he remember all this stuff?!
ОтветитьThis is a new SUV, not a modernized Defender. It shouldn't wear the name of a vehicle that earned a reputation and set benchmarks during its time. Give it another name and let's part ways: us, people who love steel chassis and pulling handles, and you, who love to show off your SUV in the city and occasionally have to push 450 buttons to drive on a sandy track.
ОтветитьI wanted one I'm in Kenya and am a farmer
ОтветитьNew defender..... JUNK
