How to share your PC or laptop screen wirelessly on LG TV?

TV LG LED50" 50QNED816QA just doesn't appear in Available displays when I hit connect to wireless display. PC connected via LAN cable and TV via Wi-Fi to the same network. Tried to connect PC via Wi-Fi as well, but nothing.

how to share from pc connected by lan cable ?

I have a LG UQ8050 and it started to work like a charm with my PC, but with observations. It only works with wireless adapter device plugged in the computer (even if not in use); works with tv in wired or wirelless connection; works both in 2.4ghz and 5ghz, and in they mixed; generally I have to turn off/on the TV to make it visible in Windows search; generally the tv takes 1-3 minutes to be found. But it works well, in a 100mb internet plan (10Mbps) and with other connected devices. It's smooth to play games (not exactly to a pro player) and watch movies. On the other hand, the "PC Remote" option in LG webos is such a very laggy tool, cutting the Windows UI flow all the time, being impossible to do dynamic tasks.

If my laptop have a ryzen´s Processor?

I can connect to the TV from my computer, but nothing happens on the TV. No option to accept the connection comes up on the TV. Any idea what causes this ?

mine just says request screen sharing with no option to say accept or anything just cancel

Hello thank you for your clear explications. Me I prefer a wired connexions, however, my bosses waned to be able connect their laptops to LG TV's wirelessly, and there's not all perfect :(
After two or tree consecutive connections from same laptop to same TV, TV gives me a PIN number and asks to enter this number on my laptop, but I can't figure out where exactly in laptop I must enter this PIN ? It's not always perfect those wirless mirroirings :(

I could NOT figure out why my 1 yr old laptop would not connect to my 2 yr old LG OLED, tried everything then found this video where you mentioned you had the same problem till you unplugged the TV and sure enough that worked. Thanks.
Only thing is the VLC playback on the TV was a bit choppy, I might just use an HDMI cable.

Does this work on wired network connection if both devices are using the same connection? I'm on a desktop pc and I don't have the "wireless display" option available.

Hey I tried everything but I just can’t find my tv when I click connect to wireless display. It never detects my tv . It’s in range , WiFi is on , I tried off and on , but nothing . I use a Lg C9 oled

The other day I connected wirelessly without issues using it for karaoke. Today I cannot sign onto the LG TV. It no longer asks for permission, just says I am trying to connect and a few seconds later indicates an error occurred and stops mirroring attempt. I am frustrated and thinking about using an HDMI cable to connect to my laptop instead, but found that some people are having problems using their headphones with HDMI connected.

Does this still work? I think they changed the menu in an update, I no longer see "screen share settings" and etc on the connection menu... I'm able to cast specific files/videos from my (windows 11) PC, but can't use the TV as a wireless display. It's listed as a device, but the part where "instructions should appear on your TV" doesn't show anything on the TV, and eventually times out on the computer.

Excellent video Darko and very helpful. I dont use HDMI when I hook my Acer Nitro Laptop to my LG B10. I do it wirelessly.

I just use connect from my laptop and it works directly .. the only annoying thing is the pin/disconnect bar on the top of screen which I keep hit disconnect accidentally

I wanted to watch movies with subtitles from PC but my desktop does not have WiFi so I can’t use this option via Ethernet. Or can I? Anyway is this worth watching 4K movies with this option?
