Absolute and Relative Paths

What if we need to go backwards like from ocean to philip then what is relative path?

I am still confused. If I am working on a file and the info I need is in another file. Both infos (in the working file and needed file) are on two different projects linked to one project . How do I get it cos my code keeps saying file not found.

Update: I finally figured how to get hold of it using the absolute path but can't figure the relative path out.

Why are there so many rude comments about this guy.. yeah, he used a prompter, but he made a vid to help people out... I found this VERY helpful ESPECIALLY since I was struggling so much with this subject..... and he made it so simple to understand.... yet when I come to the comments to see what other people have to say about his help, all I see are comments about how you guys think he's bad at what he's doing..... I know this is the internet, but seriously, making fun of someone before thanking them, is like not thanking them at all...
