Looks rough Tim 😅
ОтветитьYuck!! So sad that we have people that run these hotels that think it’s okay to charge for such yucky rooms
Ответитьthis was definitely definitely an old office building that was converted to a hotel
ОтветитьAs a cleaner, you always leave the toilet seat up to show that it has been cleaned
Ответитьwhy screw the window shut in a room with an accessible balcony ?!
ОтветитьBritannia hotels tend to be the worst. I stayed in one years ago at Gatwick airport and it was horrendous. Reminded me of the old Quality and Comfort Inns
ОтветитьYikes. That is grim.
ОтветитьUSSR style Britannia in Coventry is by far the worst 🤣
ОтветитьDont confuse this with the old grand hotel in folkestone's west end.. That is the old original ..GRAND HOTEL..
ОтветитьThe Exchange love watching all your videos mate. One thing I need to say on this one, 13th floor they locked the windows incase you do Harry carry but there's a balcony lol
ОтветитьHi Tim, I stayed here last week, not expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. Doing a late booking for a 5 day coach break, and needing a single room, I was given a double with a sea view - a Premier room on the 7th floor. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was good, with a bath and plenty of hot water. The public areas, the food and the staff were also all okay. I would stay here again. However, a different room with a horrible view might affect my enjoyment, but that is quite normal in any hotel.
ОтветитьI would find this hotel fascinating 😮
ОтветитьJust looking now and it's down as a 1 star!
ОтветитьThe door behind the wardrobe might be to a connecting room, handy when staying with children. Or....like lady Mary on downtown Abbey, handy to be next to a man and sneak into her room, so she could try before she married him. Very sensible in my opinion lol
ОтветитьHi Tim, new subscriber here.
This hotel looks over Folkestone harbour, a town where my Kent family live so I know the area well.
The hotel from what I gather is housing immigrants- your room doesn’t look too bad, such a shame that the hotel needs updating.
If I wanted to visit the area, I would stay in Seabrook or Hythe, much nicer hotels there.
I've enjoyed a few of your videos this weekend- very interesting to watch thank you.
I prefer the one at level 6. Looks maintained.
Ответитьwhen this lad says in his uploads ooooh "look at that old painting" or wow "look at that old furniture" f.f.s. it's not old, old, its repo old, brown wood furniture and photographic prints of "old" original photos or paintings, just saying
ОтветитьBrittania Hotels own all the crappy hotels
