I found someone selling a rog ally for $93 plus a 1tb and I want someones opinion when I checked it said this "1TB 2TB M.2 2230 SSD NVMe PCIe4x4 PC SN740 For ASUS Rog Ally Steam Deck Surface"

Y I didn't buy.. so much update just killed it for me. 🤦

Quick question, I’m trying to play city skylines on My Rog ally. I downloaded the windows 10 version and the Steam version. The controls don’t work at all on the Steam version and they stop working randomly on the windows 10 version. I have no idea how to fix this.

im in the market for either this or a laptop for playing wow. Would the ROG ally be worth it if i set it up with a dock with mouse+keyboard to play wow ?

i think the rog ally is perfect, but it should have a larger screen and possibly be able to have 5G? otherwise i am fine, i could just use my phone for my rog ally to connect to a hotspot

They really should've tried putting a 90hz display on this at least... I haven't used a device with less than 120hz since 2019... Even my TV is 144hz

I love my Ally. Im a console gamer and this is perfect for me. I dont play pc games really anymore so im used to seeing 30-60fps on my series X depending on the game and as far as im concerned every game ive played on my ally looks just as good or better than my series X pretty regularly

the my asus app does bios updates which is kind of important on such a new device and board so it is probably worth it for a lot of people to keep it

MyAsus app literally allows you to update bios, chipset, various components, set battery charge limits, and more. It may not be “necessary”, but it sure as fuck makes it easier to keep the device up to date. L take, sir.

Can anyone tell me how do I remove the real time monitor extra info? All I wanna see if just FPS, I don't wanna see the GPU CPU etc info all that stuff too

PC tech companies always suck at software. And the fact that the ROG Ally can't beat the Steam Deck at 15W tells you all you need to know. They are a hardware company and they want to sell hardware, but consoles are more than just hardware.
