In a perfect world.
With all due respect, I've always noticed Gil has the most consistent red face I've ever seen in someone I would believe to be healthy.
I suffer from red face/neck, especially when physically active, along with stage 1 hypertension
(I suffered from low bp prior to TRT).
Cutting sodium, clean eating, staying well hydrated, stress management, along with eating grape fruit has had minimal impact on lowering bp & haematocrit. The fact is, some people are prone to certain side effects and some aren't, just as with anything in life.
Gil states that water retention can be a cause of elevated bp. We know visible water retention is due to elevated estradiol levels (with consideration for low sodium intake)... but we have it drummed into us on this channel that high E2 levels don't need to be looked at, as an abundance of E2 is a great thing. Tell that to those suffering from gyno, erectile dysfunction and have emotional outbursts, that never experienced these things when their E2 was within clinical range.

A couple of you guys are certainly knowledgeable and have in fact helped myself, but your militant stance on the topic of haematocrit & estradiol is sometimes concerning.
I know TRT is the main source of business for Gil & my sentiments will likely be met with hostility or a challenge of knowledge, but I say this with respect in an open forum.
It would be refreshing to see you not digress or run off on tangents with medical terminology all the time.
Focus and address what you start to answer or discuss. And please, if you often give advice on how to mitigate high E2 symptoms, openly accept that very high E2 is not safe, or at least, it's not ideal.
You can not have it both ways fellas.

I appreciate this channel and the work you guys put in to helping educate the community.

Gil, I've noticed guys who use hCG often suffer from frequent bouts of hot facial flushing. Do you think this is due to the spike in estradiol that hCG causes?

Succinct and excellent as always gentleman.I have definately noticed increased pumps and vascularity, even though I have not gotten any leaner(not being strict with diet during covid to be honest).I do have marginally elevated blood pressure, and would like to try potassium citrate. Are there any instances where you wouldnt advise using this supplement-ie blood pressure meds or diuretics? Cheers

I was on trt for approximately 8 months. Developed red face pretty bad. Quit my trt for 6 months. Donated blood 3 times. Started my trt again last Friday. Did 1 60mg injection IM and literally got flushed and warm skin/face 48 hours later. Still have it today, monday. I understand according to this video that it could not be the testosterone acting that quickly on my rbc's. But what else can it be? Could it be the anastrozole? Or the hcg? I took both on Friday with my test injection

Elevated Estrogen raises blood pressure via water retention. Keep the doses reasonable and injections more frequent.

I'm 26 and had test levels in the low low 300s. I train twice a day for an hour very intensely, and my blood pressure used to be 104/65 on a pretty steady and regular basis. I am on my 3rd week of my loading phase of TRT by a medical professional here in AZ. I bought a super accurate blood pressure cuff for my personal use because i had noticed it higher at each of my first 3 appointments. Right now my Blood pressure seems to be resting somewhere around 130/75 and my heart rate has increased at resting from 50bpm to 70 bpm....should i be concerned about this jump? It should be noted that i do suffer from anxiety regardless so that could play a roll. I eat a very clean diet. I have also noticed some redness in my face as well.

Also worth noting that aside from the things raised in this video, there is also the possibility of vasodilation occurring from preworkout powders (stim and non stim varieties) or “pump” powders. Mentioning this as a lot of guys on TRT do workout and supplement these. It’s not just caffeine that causes flushing and vasodilation, but also excess of vitamins like Niacin - if you drink monster energy drinks, they contain 4x the daily recommended amount of niacin, which can cause “niacin flush” in some people. Other people may also have diets high in histamines (a lot of foods we eat have high histamines) histamine release in the body can also have downstream effects and cause vasodilation. There is also some guys on TRT who are using Cialis, even daily 5mg tablets will cause facial flushing, the vasodilation is not just occurring in your pants, it also affects the facial capillaries.
And for some guys it could be a combination of a handful of the things I have mentioned as well as the stuff mentioned in the video, a perfect storm really for redness to occur

I think any suplement will just make the facial flushing worse except for drinking water. I came to the conclusion the only thing that might work is a face cream to tone down the red face.

When I’m on TRT injections, my face turns bright red, my face has a hot feeling to it, I get eyes bags and it makes my wrinkles more pronounced. My estrogen, blood pressure and hematocrit are all in check. I was told by a Doctor that this happens, because testosterone is a vasodilator and bring blood vessels to the surface of the skin which are more prevalent in the face.

My blood pressure is 175 over 105 .
My skin is red. I've been on 3 medications to try to control. The meds will bring it down for a few hours. But every morning I wake up. 170 over 100. Or higher . I have no idea what is wrong. The trt is not helping the blood pressure . My t levels are in range 600 to 800 . Total on trt. I'm not over weight . I'm 5 11. 175 lbs. Lean muscle . And physically fit. But I have hypertension crisis. Could be sleep apnea .

test Sustanon vs other esters. Because most TRT is done on Sustanon. It gives you different blood lever peaks because of the 4 esters.
