oh how I miss actual choreography and dance. Artistry seems to a thing of the past in artistic gymnastics. So sad!

Gorgeous double back!

So lovely on floor. From an era when gymnasts worked with choreographers & really cared about dance & artistry.

What a little firecracker. Notice her chest position on the dismount. Even girls today are landing double back dismounts on their knees or just outright falling on them. The musical interpretation is also wonderful.

I don't know who is copying whom, but this is the same outfit that Soviets wear during the '70.
