CORRECTLY Match A Polo Shirt With Jeans (Most Men Mess This Up!)

I want to start wearing polos more but I absolutely hate the floppy collar on them.
I have a pretty round face and when the collar doesn't stand up right my face looks even bigger / rounder. Unfortunately, I'm also in EU and it looks like we don't have anything like collars and co here.

Is long sleeve polo a good piece of clothing to have in the wardrobe?

I’m tall and muscular, so it’s easier for me to rationalize buying clothes that generally don’t fit right; however since fit is king I’ve been more proactive and searching out clothing built for me, and going for a wardrobe overhaul starting next year.

Two, important, grammatical, “style” points that are not stylish when heard: piqué is correctly said <pi-kā>, with the second syllable pronounced with a long “a” sound; the verb “run” should replace the verb “ran” in the sentence along the lines of “… polos that have been ran through the washer …”

I am 63 and shrunk from 5' 7" to 5'5", still have athletic build and 29" waist so I decided to transition to small polos. OMG!!!! They make me look jacked. And the length looks great with jeans. Happy camper.

Gentlemen please STOP tucking in your polos! Like thew man said straight hemmed shirts are not meant to be tucked. Tucking in your polo makes you look old, old and nerdy. And you have a bit of a gut, it accentuates the gut. That's all people see.

Age aint a thing. Im 45. Ill wear my Lacoste traditional polo with chinos and loafers. Or ill wear my pink Psycho Bunny with distressed jeans and Dr Martens. 😂. Its whatever you feel comfortable in. As long as you dont look like a clown

Since 2015, my go-to style has been a polo/jeans. I buy the Walmart polyester, sold color polos. They fit perfectly. Some are the George brand and some are Ben Hogan.

Honest question. I'm old 60 but look decent for my age, full hair, 6 foot, 170, 32 inch waist broad shoulders. But still 60..lol..but people say 50. I break just about every rule for dressing your age I see on y tube. I would honestly say I dress like a 20 something or less. Lots of polo, various jeans all skinny, Nike air max and jordans. Lots of sports wear nike and adidas. Timberland galore. But everything is pieced together nicely, matching and everything fits well. I promise I get 10 compliments every week. I'm out for my work meeting and seeing new different people all the time but I'll have guys and girls purposely come over to say hey that outfit is really great. I get asked to have my picture taken at least once a week. Some waitresses have an outfit of the day watch because I go in there a few times a week and they love it. Could I be way off dressing this way? I'm not gonna change but if a person feels confident and comfortable and why would I get so much positive response if its so off base. Honest information here and I want an honest response please. Thanks.

I haven't been to this channel in a while but I'm back and it seems a LOT has changed. I remember Antonio used to tell us to go for solid colours and no loud busy designs and prints but then I saw him saying prints on a hoodie is fine. Now on this video he's saying ripped/distressed jeans are okay if you can pull off the look? WHAT?! Who are you and what have you done to Antonio? What changed?

all my polos where old and ordered just 3 new ones for my vacation all white lacoste with small logo green ,pme legend black small logo on chest and arm and a other pme legend that is like in betwin turkish blue and green can i wear these with a blue jean or beige shorts eventually the white one with a black jean.

Collar & Co shirts run very long. Just a heads up. Tucking them in is your only option unless you are in the 1% - 6ft 2in size small or medium lol.

So some of the time I like to tuck it in but my parents think it's "dorky" and I'm just wondering if that's true. I wouldn't EVER wear what the host is currently wearing in the video. Does not compliment, virtually anything. I believe , it makes any statement, just drab.

golf brand polos are way more casual and sporty. The big brand performance polos like RL are slick enough for upscale casual.

My understanding of the history of the shirt is that Lacoste created the shirt for tennis. Polo players wore what we now call OCBD's, which is why Brooks Brothers shirt says the original polo shirt. They switched to the "tennis" shirt because of its comfort. This is why Ralph Lauren eventually used the polo player for his logo.

Maybe you can tell me how to get my wife to stop buying me bargain store polos that look like Liberace's wallpaper...

If you want to look like an engineer who's at work, wear a polo. Otherwise, avoid entirely. They don't look good on anybody. Is it obvious that I don't shill for a company that sells $70+ polo shirts?

Those polo shirts with the dress collars are ugly. This style won’t last; at least I hope not.

Let me help here… never wear skinny jeans if you are male, period. Pink and purple never look good. Don’t wear a long sleeve polo, just buy a Henley. Leave the ripped jeans in the 80’s. A polo and sport coat makes you look like a used car salesman. And no, sandals, sweatpants, and slides never look good.

As a woman viewing this polo shirt, I will give you my two cents' worth of opinion. The silky cotton jersey-type fabric of the Collars and Co, when stretched over a man's torso looks rather off-putting - like a tight second skin. The opposite of sexy. Better to buy it in a slightly larger size if you want to go for this option. This is why I prefer the pique fabric of the original polo shirt - it stands slightly away from the body and looks, in my opinion, far classier and sexier on a man. As do those made in a fine wool or silk/cashmere combination.

The kinds of guys who wear awful ripped jeans with paint splattered all over them aren't the kinds of guys who will take your advice.

TUCKING in a polo shirt with a thin waist and a nice belt is the best look, and shows off your body. Untucked is for fat boys to hide their poor workout ethics. Period.

I want to see a range of body types modelling the clothes. Lots of us don’t have abs and aren’t interested in getting them. Let’s see some dad bods and older fuller body types.

I just wear whatever and don't give a rats ass....
