Fun fact, Peter Griffin. Is irish
Ответитьit's amazing how the British can conquer the vast land of India and America but can't handle the Irish. The Irish must have really wild nature. The red-head & green eye country... very beautiful, and they speak English, and it's near Britain and it's part the EU. It's practically a very nice country.
ОтветитьBro thank you for this, i have to study wars of independence and needed to choose a country. Guess I'm choosing Ireland!!! Loved the drawings btw
ОтветитьEveryone bails when the money stops flowing.
ОтветитьMy favorite sign
Blow us now!
British are very mysterious people
ОтветитьWhen talking about the war people seem to only talk about Dublin
These lads didn’t fight the war. They were politicians.
It was the tipp brigade who formed the flying columns and created the first unit.
Cork brigade had 25 percent of ira guns. All together ira were 4 divisions 450 battalions.
Donegal where it was the last time British used heavy artillery to shell a village by lost against half the ira numbers.
Cork brigades fighting for the docks and turning back British navy.

ОтветитьHonestly this is probably the most well earned war for independence in the history of wars for independence- Ireland had been stepped on my Britain for hundreds of years prior
ОтветитьDirty brits
ОтветитьMy Irish catholic ancestor who immigrated to the American colonies during the revolutionary war looking down from heaven during this like 😮
ОтветитьI cant get over how incredibly based Britain and being British is.
Love the videos man.
The Conquest of Ireland arguably wasn’t fully completed until the Act of Union in 1800 when the Kingdom of Ireland (after centuries of constitutional and regime changes) was forcibly merged into the British state (though our civil service and courts remained separate, and we retained our legislative representatives). Those representatives forced to sit in London instead of Dublin, but went back to Ireland in 1919 and declared independence in a reconstituted Irish Parliament (copying the Hungarian walkout of the Austrian parliament in the 1860s).
European history is very complicated as you can imagine ..
Your graphic at 0.03 shows Wales as England. Please correct this.
ОтветитьRIP Freddie steaknife thanks for your loyal service to the crown
ОтветитьIndependence from the British Empire is a tradition that must be upheld.
ОтветитьThis video got me through school
ОтветитьLets be real irish history would be mid without britain
ОтветитьSorry not potato famine you do not have a famine if only one crop fails so while Irish men women and children lay dead or dying on the streets and roads of Ireland 🇮🇪 the English continued to ship food and livestock to England so not va famine but an organised genocide underline genocide of which the English have never apologised
ОтветитьIm Irish this is interesting
ОтветитьI demand reparations from the u.k. as a descendant of an ancient Irish high king . I need it more than African Americans. Somehow we came here and they say we owe them reparations . So I need my reparations so I can pay reparations.
ОтветитьI feel bad for irsh people because of this
ОтветитьMy mother's cousin Thomas owns the coast guard station in Clifdon, County Galway. It was burned by the IRA to keep the brits from using it. Today it stands as a beautiful lodging for rent, nestled in farm land and over looking salmon fishing along Sky Road.
ОтветитьNotice how in this video the British fire on crowds of civilians and Irish Nationalists attack officialdom! Sure. Anyone who knows the true story would know that armed ununiformed nationalists often hid in crowds of civilians and nationalists often targeted civilians and often intimidated pro-British Southern Irish particularly at the time of elections.
ОтветитьThere’s evidence the potato famine was engineered by the Brits. One can look at the bills of laden and the stationing of British troops in Ireland and the amount of food they consumed
ОтветитьWow... never knew that went down... thanks
Ответитьand then Sinn Fien sold the Irish people out to Globalisation and mass iimigration LMAO
ОтветитьThe voice is perfect for this video
ОтветитьThis is amazing! As an Irish girl living in London this is my first time hearing the real story! So proud to be IRISH. Long Live Eire!
ОтветитьHow
It's so simple way to explain!
Thanks!
As an Irish person, I thank you for putting a spotlight on our wee island.
Ответитьnorn irons better
ОтветитьSo basically what I got from this is the Irish never beat the English back to England like in the song come out ye black and tans but they were given their freedom which they agreed to but decided to have a civil war cos someone didn't like that huh I mean I know the Irish was outnumbered but they never defeated the English but they were given a treaty to be free but decided to have a civil war that is the most retardedest thing I've ever heard at least be thankful you got independence from England and recognised as the free states of Ireland but no one wants one thing the other wants another that's what causes break ups in countries
ОтветитьOn the other hand my mothers family use to raid and in-slave the Irish and most likely traded there in Dublin in slaves and other stuff! Mean while a few years later my father German family came to America and killed a lot English here in the 1700"s!
ОтветитьThe Irish island needs to be under one government of Ireland! England needs to get out! Ireland must have freedom of all religions or you can never be truly one nation!
ОтветитьThis is very, very similar with what's going on in Ukraine right now!
ОтветитьThe first video i ever watched on this account
ОтветитьTiocfaidh ár lá 🇮🇪
ОтветитьI dont like the tone of this at all..
ОтветитьThey killed brave Irish men under the crime of treason. For fighting to free their land. Britain are horrible people & to this day they won't let Ireland alone.
Ответитьthis goes to any royalist defending the queen.
Ответитьcome out ye black and tans,
come out and fight me like a man
show your wives how you won medals down in Flanders
tell her how the IRA made you run like hell away
from the green and lovely lanes of Killeshandra
You'd think with how much the British and the like care about the ethics of war, they'd be a bit less whilly-nilly about the whole killing unarmed civilians and burning civilian towns thing. There is palpable, recorded evidence of crimes against humanity and violations of the ethics of war by the RIC and their auxiliaries; even with the UN being a introduced later, they committed acts that violated the laws of war at the time. Yet still the Irish aren't seen in the same light as us Americans or the Indians, even though they were subjugated much in the same way for even longer.
ОтветитьThe one thing the RA and the Brits could agree on: communism is awful
Ответитьlizzys in a box lmao
ОтветитьMate, the bog-side is the whole of Ireland
Ответитьyou got your dates wrong. sorry. most of your dates were way too early. for example, bloody sunday was in 1972, not 1920.
