Saving a NIGHTMARE EU4 Ruined Campaign

I have a 1600 France game that needs saved! 4500 dev, whole Europe coalition, internal conflict 2 years from firing, 17-25k debt, 250% over extension, at war with commonwealth and venice.

It was a Big Blue Blob game I kept playing for the rest of France achievs so rushed for BBB then just truce juggled and colonized.

Its weird to want to own the Balkans but not attack the Ottomans early lol

I'd like to ask what is ruined on this campaign? It's just bad AE for catholics and that's all...

Would love some ruined campaigns that are past early game. Most of these recent ones are so early they can be saved with a restart.

How is that that there are beautiful clean borders around Europe in this video, nothing cursed and 0 AI bordergore, only France going into GB and Castile into Portugal by the time goes

Ahh yeah, seeing the AI pile in against the Ottos after you've bled to kill them is so painful. In order to properly defeat the Ottomans you tend to need to grind them down meaning they are then easy pickings for expansion...

Save was so bad that even the thumbnail got changed to be more red than originally 💀
