ok so sometimes the colors in the tv for 3 seconds gets a little bit low saturation and then it goes back to normal, it does this every 5 minutes…did i do something wrong?

Wow! Thank you for this. Just unboxed a new HiSense TV to use as an extended monitor, and the "input lag" was really frustrating to me. Thanks so much for suggesting to check the TVs picture settings. Enabling "Game Mode" resolved the issue 100%. EXCELLENT VIDEO! TY!!🎉

Hello, My son actually set up all our computers to operate on a TV monitor rather than PC monitor. (Mostly because we didnt want to buy two monitors when we could get a larger sized TV for half the price.) We are somewhat paying for that decision. All this works fine for us, but i enjoy going to my office or childrens homes and working on an actual monitor.
It seems more crisp and my older eyes can read things better. My reason for looking up this video was to see if there is a picture setting that best enhances PC dispaly. IE: Brightness MAX/Contrast 60%/Sharpness 100%
For now, im playing with all these settings to see what looks the best. Any expert knowledge would be greatly appreciated. Thank You, God Bless

Hi, i have a ENO Nvidia 3060 RTX on a 75inch Philips 4k smart tv. And at times the screen blinks just 1 time to black and on again. It does not happen when i just watch tv or streaming services. I had a 1660 super Nvidia graphicscard in the pc wich did not show these problems. My pc: 5 coolling fans, Arctic cpu fan, Aurora Elite V2 motherb. AMD Ryzen 3900X, 64gb DDR4 3600 mhz Extreme memory, 1 250gb nvme m2 ssd. And 3 ext. ssd drives of 4tb. With a 1000 watts Gold powersupply. And so now with The Eno Nvidia 3060 12gb DDR6. So what do i do?

Got the Samsung S95B and a rtx 2070 laptop, 2.1 hdmi cable. Colours look washed out as always on Full and rgb in nvidia settings. Other options dont do nothing. On the samsung options the signal imput when i click on it on the hdmi slot i got the pc in, the tv stops showing the signal completely and goes back to my laptop, where i have to unplug and plug back in the hdmi to make my tv recognize the input. Not being able to turn on the Input Signal on the specific hdmi slot(tried all 4) prevents me from turning on Game Mode on the s95B, which is needed for best latency and refresh rate and so on… very frustrated. If anyone knows what’s going on please, would like some help.

My colors "were"screwed and I couldn't figure out how to make it look right... Until I found that the reason I couldn't figure it out was the fact that I had to use Nvidia control panel to override the color to reference mode rather than enhanced. After doing so my tv matched my monitor perfectly. I hope this helps someone.

So after a year I can safely say reference mode is best for all displays as it just shows it as it was intended. Is also seems to make even the most contradicting displays match 1:1 so big win with this one

One more thing is if your using a TV as a display and it's 720p set it to 768p and for 1080p set it to 1824×1026 it looks weird in text but will fit perfectly and look just as good as tv aspect ratio is slightly off from a monitor even being 16×9

The calculator is kinda stupid because who the hell uses inches when it's a stupid system, especially when the metric system exist.

I'm using our ols 32" flatty as a monitor. Used a VGA to HDMI cable because that's what I had. It worked, but it was fuzzy and the res was a bit off. Ordered a DisplayPort to HDMI cable and now it looks better than when it was just a TV.
