Really says something when the opening level in the past five main line sonic games have been Green Hills.
It was a nice throwback in Generations to have it be the opener, but why did it have to be the norm for the next 10 years?

You forgot two games. Sonic Boom: Fire and Ice (3DS - 2016), and also the Wii version of SONIC UNLEASHED (2008). That version has completely different levels from the other main version.
