Just wanna make this clear again - Take this information with a grain of salt. There's always room for more clarity and maybe even some corrections down the line. None of this is confirmed by Valve. However, CS2's sub tick mechanics are proven to work already so that's good news in itself.

ОтветитьAt least you haven't played SAMP and experienced lag shooting. Nobody could aimbot, because everyone needed to shoot behind their target. Then came the sync. Way too many aimbotters

Ответитьin csgo the hitreg sucks but almost all the time when you miss the target it feels like you hit it, while in cs2 the hitreg is "good" but almost all the time when you hit the target it feels like you missed it ... I wonder what would happens if Valve just "delay" the animation (client side) like 5 to 10 milisseconds just for visual purposes

ОтветитьSo what happens if they just make the shooting animation client side for you. Other ppls shots would still register on the next game tick but that's of minimal consequence compared to what we currently have. Any downsides to having the animation client side?
