DJI Osmo Action 3 | A Complete Beginners Guide & No Edit Best Settings

Several of you have pointed out the fact that the footage from the Osmo Action 3 looks soft and/or out of focus. I agree with your conclusion. The footage I provided is straight out of the Action 3 and does not have any alterations made to the sharpness or focus when putting it together in this video. This enables you to accurately see how this footage looks.

I purchased the Action 3 with my own money as I do with all cameras and the goal of this video is help beginners have a great, first experience with the Action 3 while also providing footage samples that help those shopping for an action camera--or current owners of the Action 3--accurately see what they can expect from this camera. I appreciate seeing all of your thoughts and opinions on this camera as well.

Hello . I don't know why the videos I make are short files of 1 minute. if I film 5 minutes on the camera, I have 5 files of 59 seconds. where did I go wrong?

Can you now adjust sharpness manually on the Osmo 3? Also, did they ever added 10 bit colors via update?

But Sir, (1) how do you handle the infamous 5 minute clip fregmentation (due to 4 GB limit)?
(2) Does the gap (from prev to new clip) will ruin a continuous shot?
(3) is there a way to select video bitrate to reduce file size?

Hello. Really found this info helpful as I've had my Action 3 for a while and want to get the most out of it. I have a quick question on video quality. Recent software update included 4K 10-bit which is supposedly the highest, best quality. Would you recommend this setting or keeping it at 4K 60 fps? The new 10-bit is only 30fps @4K. Thanks

I‘m very intersted which settings you use with nd filters, I have tested it with sharpness 0 an noise red. 0, but didn‘t get nice motion blur like with my OA3 :(
