How to Uninstall Riot Games Client on Windows 10/11

I keep getting a notification when I try to delete this saying that it is open in another location. I don't know how to get around it :( Any help?

Fuck riot for this shitty uninstallation.

For me it says the riot client faldero is in use and it's not and it's pissing me off

i have a solution:
1. disconnect your computer's internet connection (and turn off "connect automatically")
2. restart your computer
3. there should be a riot notification saying "no internet found"
4. press retry (it'll will pop back up again after a few seconds)
5. press exit
6 go to "Programs and Features"
7. select your riot games (such as Lol, Valorant, etc) and uninstall them first
8. select Riot Games and uninstall

DO WAIT FOR A FEW SECONDS UNTIL THE UNINSTALL PROCESS IS COMPLETE FOR 7 AND 8.

(be SURE to DISCONNECT your computer's internet during al these steps)

Honestly RIOT client is like VIRUS. Its totally unacceptable that you cant even uninstall it in a normal way.

after deleting all the folders, when I try to uninstall it says "windows cannot find (path). make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again"

Super useful. Riot Games Client makes it really difficult to get rid of. It also prevented me from uninstalling League and Valorant until I had it fully exited out of. Really silly. Cleaned up entire PC just to get rid of League and Valorant. This is some sloppy work by Riot if it isn't malicious to make it this difficult to get rid of their sofware. Hell, just look at Vanguard and how deep it embeds itself.
