Monumento a los héroes de la Restauración (Monument to the Heroes of the Restoration of the Republic) is located on a hill on the eastern side of the centre of Santiago de los Caballeros, at the most colorful and emblematic place of the city and one of the most visited ones in the Dominican Republic.

This place is circled on all sides by a multilevel garden and boasting panoramic views over the entire city.
