When I visited the 3 Scandinavian countries back when Trump was president I was approached by many Scandinavians in all 3 countries asking why Americans voted for such a rude and stupid old man? I explained about the poor education system, lack of critical thinking skills and the undercurrent of racism and rage against peoples that these colonialists stole lands from and then proceeded to steal other peoples to turn into slaves on stolen Indigenous lands.
They already knew this and wondered aloud why the "wrong people were so angry and so self-righteous?"
Yes Scandinavia also has it's White Supremists and Fascists but educated people would never give power like the crazy Americans with their anti-democratic The Electoral College.🙄

Oh shit, got high, stumbled here somehow, midway through they started talking about Altered Carbon and I remembered how I got here. Good series. Season 2 is better than some people say, even if it wasn't quite as good as season 1. Definitely recommend, especially if it seems like it's in your genre.

Im scandinavian by blood, what's infinitly more important in this context is im an American. Regardless of what you see in the news or on social media, the vast majority of Americans LOVE him. Pfft, I can see how he'd perceive it that way when you consider is upper class bourgeois upbringing, his school is literally rich people school. But the sharp uptick in right wing to far right political parties in Scandinavian politics sais differently. My hometown voted 90% for the right wing populist party New Democrat and there were alot of MAGA hats and "I did that" Biden stickers around.

Thank you Joe for telling us that Scandinavians hate Trump. I m Asian and a lot of us feel the same. Having Trump back is like having Covid back to stay for 4 years

And there is a good reason for that. Scandinavia is the center of global corruption, we have the most formatted people in the entire world. But that also means that the ones who manage to wake up and realize the flaws of the monetary system get a unique perspective. When all is said and done, Trump, Putin, Xi Jinping and Erdogan will be remembered as the greatest heroes in history. Not because they did everything on their own but because they were the figureheads that lead us to enlightenment. 1200 years of darkness is finally coming to an end.

For Scandinavians , outwardly disagreeing with each other is a strong taboo… and disagreeing on Trump is one of those taboos. Scandinavians aren’t affected by Trump, he is merely one of those figures deemed “safe to hate”.
