I think Leatherface is greatly underestimated, if he gets one swipe with his chainsaw at one of his opponents, it’s done. The opponent loses balance and control and Leatherface massacres the opponent with his chainsaw. That would have been the case in this movie if the plot didn’t make Leatherface stand around and wait for Myers to regain strength after he was knocked down by the chainsaw.
