I expected my derm to start me on lowest tretinoin. He put me on mid-level and wasted my money between 2 tubes and 4 appointments. I've been on it for 10 months, and my skin is just too sensitive to use more than 3x per week.

I started off with Differin and used it a couple years. Now using low strength tretinoin for six months and just now tolerating three times per week.

Thank you for your excellent recommendations. What I use after a retinol night, in the morning, or the next night, consists of four steps. I cleanse my face with a mild cleanser 'Eucerin Hydrating Cleansing Gel'. After the cleanser, I apply 'La Roche Posay' thermal water, then the 'Vichy Minéral 89 Prebiotic' serum and finish with the 'Cicaplast Balm' also from La Roche Posay. I would like to ask you to make a video about prebiotics in skin care, what role they play in our skin, and also product recommendations. Thank you @TheBudgetDermatologist ❤

Thanks to all your tips I repaired my skin barrier and I started the Avene .5 retinol with no side effects. I have sensitive skin and have been using it only once per week to start and have still seen great results over the past month! Thank you!
