Heya, thanks for this lovely video! You mention your stay at the hotel was cut short. Did you get your money back for the days you didn't stay there? Do you recommend booking a quarantine in advance or do you think it's also okay to do it at the airport? :) Thank you for your answers!

Didn't need travel insurance?

You are right, ppl need to do their research because the requirements are changing due to the changing circumstances with COVID. I think the quarantine is now 7-10 days due to Omnicron variant.

Great video, really appreciate you explaining the whole process. I’m a solo female traveler so this puts my mind at ease a bit. I’ve been planning to come over in January 2022 for at least a few months. Unfortunately they just changed quarantine to 10 days so I’m hoping that’ll change after the holidays. If not, maybe I’ll enjoy an extended stay at the mandarin :)

Make some local friends as speaking Bahassa is always a plus especially when dealing with the authorities with Visas etc. My wife is Indonesian which helps make life simple with kitap etc. Wish you both good life here in Indonesia (Bali).

Start today (Dec 3, 2021) it take 10 days quarantine to enter Indonesia caused by Omicron variant.

the new variant made the quarantine period changed again, 7 days from 3 days 🥲
