How to change Dye Ink to Sublimation or Pigment Ink | Convert printer to sublimation | Splashjet Ink

Splash jet always gives the best detailed video. I am thinking of converting my epson l805 to sublimation. Once i tried to order epson wf c5790 cartridge from splashjet but it was out of stock

Just got a brand new Epson Ecotank L8050 and I'm planning to convert it to pigment ink.
Is it still possible to do the conversion by completely draining it via printing a lot of pages and re-filling it with pigment ink? Or do I have to do this process?
