I watched this today I loved it so much her aunt though what a scrooge it really took her niece having that accident to come around like really I'm glad that boy got her out to have fun it's a shame she had to pay the price for it the poor dear but seeing everyone she made smile there for her in the end I cried like a little baby

I did a play and I was this character! I should’ve watched the movie to know my quirks a bit more…

i loved this movie is the reason i named my cat pollyanna and i made me my dad search under the house in the crawl space with a flash light this one time when i was a little kid after i got back home from sleeping over at my grandma and grandpa woofenden's for like a week because i couldn't sleep without her

I Fucking hate this Feeling movie 👌

One of my all-time favorite movies. Shows a time when a town needed to free itself from all the bad gossip, prejudice, and negativity? All it needed was this young girl, to show its people how to be much more positive about life. Sure there are those that think it’s just a cheesy film, too bad that they don’t see it’s charm. I’ve been watching it since I was a teen. Haley Mills is sensational in this film (and her other films too).
EDIT: No she does not die, have to put this in because of the false comments that I read here.

That girls mindset will really fuck you up and eventually kill you. If you can only see what you want out of every bad situation how can you learn or adapt or grow in any way? This book and movie has a terrible message.

It was 50 years ago this week, "Pollyanna" was originally scheduled to appeared as part of Disney's WWOC, but it was pre-empted due to the assassination of John F Kennedy and Lee Harvey Oswald. That was on November 24th, 1963. The film was aired the following week, December 1st a week after the assassination, and it was shown in 3 parts.

In the book pollyanna was hit by a automobile but in this movie she fell down a 3 story house which is much worse than the book

I read the Book Pllyanna when I was a child and I never forget , I love so much this book and the movie too.
