I know this is how to make arch powerful builds but just for fun I made Lann an elemental rampager Druid because I wanted a ranged main character . So far it's pretty effective and a lot of fun . Im only playing on casual and still early in the story , my main enjoyment lies in making characters for some reason .

I feel like he would get kore damage out of going Sanctified Slayer for sneak attack dice and just getting feats for basically the same effect as flurry of blows.

So how does his unarmed strike work if you're using a longboat you mean you're just press the button and it just counts as an unarmed strike even though you shoot an arrowwithout going into Malay

He definitely comes in handy early game due to his damage and the fact that it's range damage

Any idea where to find Headband of Inspired Wisdom +2?? Hasn't dropped for me at all and it's certainly not for sale in Defender's Heart. About to do the demon fight and hate to think I missed it somewhere. Can't find any info on where to find this thing

I love Lann as an Archer tank. It's a bit counterintuitive but he has the Monk armor class feature so he's easily a leader in that regard and can fire bow without taking attacks of opportunity. Otherwise that AC bonus isn't doing much for you.

doh, just got unarmed, it means unarmoured, unarmed in English is no weapons.

i'm thinking about going a Snap-shot focused build, maybe dipping into something that can give me the doubled Combat Reflexes Hex

What zen archer bonus feat do i take at level 2?

With the exception of barkskin all the other first 4 KI powers have apparently been moved up to higher levels than I can take at level 6, with barkskin been taken at 4, breaking the chain of order. I wonder how bad this is

Lann is a fucking beast. Pick up the +2 keen longbow in the first area after getting to your camp, crits for days and his mutliple attacks can wipe entire screens

Why are you prioritizing strength over dexterity with your attributes increases? Dexterity is giving you attack bonus, armor class, reflex saves, and helps mobility and stealth . Strength just gives you damage and athletics bonus. Heck I would rather have wisdom than strength. Your decision is so confounding that I wonder if I'm missing something.

Additionally,. I really like maxing out perception with him due to his high wisdom and background and racial bonuses to the skill. I probably even take a skill focus in it somewhere down the line. You really can't have too much perception in your first playthrough as you won't know when you failed perception checks and walk past valuable items; whereas in future playthroughs you'll know where most of the best hidden stuff is at regardless of your party's perception score. But you did explain your skill choices and made a reasonable case for passing on perception, so that one's definitely up for debate. No debate on dexterity versus strength though; dexterity is two or even three times as valuable as strength for Lann

I switched Lann to a hunter(took a bully centipede for pet) and he did great work for me in my first play through.

No Cleaving shots Mythic ability? Lann with it is one of the most overpowered weapons in my party's arsenal.

I took him to monk lvl 3 and rest into pet inquisitor. he is still competent archer but now has a 50 AC leppard that runs around tripping everything :) Very versatile companion

Lann is the only companion I have at the moment that is clapping cheeks and omg he does it so well I just buff and tank for him

Will we get a build on Wenduag next? She feels very not great compared to Lann but sometimes we just wanna be a little evil and take her side.

It's ridiculous how much damage Lann can pump out. So always remember to say. "Thanks Lann! You are so awesome."

Sorry new to the game here so does bow even matter for any dmg increase at all? Also is there a diff to the dmg with unarmed vs right click atk? From what I see the combo is Extra KI atk > Unarmed atk?

No Cleaving Shot? The damage output from that skill is nuts. Its also really helpful on Core Difficulty, where there are so many more enemies in most encounters

Just dipping three levels in Zen Archer (2 at start, last at level 20) and then going cleric (crusader) is better, purely for min maxing.

How do you trigger opportunity attacks with Lann? I have snap shot and still never see him performing them.
