I love the tools you provided here that I haven’t seen in many other walkthroughs! Thank you so much for your personal experience and knowledge that allowed you to include this info! You’re awesome!!
ОтветитьI'm 33 starting my coding bootcamp on Monday. I don't find that understanding html CSS and JavaScript is that difficult but I think people should learn to master the CLI and git hub and SSH keys and stuff. I've studied Chemistry at University so this is a completely new thing for me.
ОтветитьI'm so tired of this type of media pandering to the lowest common denominator of person who wants an "easy job" . All this produces are developers and engineers who are way more obsessed with appearances than they are results. Fucking horrible shit man. Welcome to 2023, style over substance motherfuckers.
ОтветитьThat story about that black woman that "got us to the Moon" is just fake... and stupid. But people love stories and will believe any propaganda if it have in a nice story format.
ОтветитьCoding is a tool for Problem Solving.
Ответитьi jus started to start learning and watching this video makes me confused by how much you have to learn and idk where to start
Ответитьno woman got you to the moon use your common sense bro... safe
ОтветитьThank you very much ❤
Ответитьawesome
Ответитьlove your hair
ОтветитьI'm 49 and I'm going for it. Just started python fundamentals.
ОтветитьI usu suggest to the newbs to learn at least a little bit of Lisp.
ОтветитьGreat, there goes another "dream job" to the crapper. Only Fans it is then... Wait, I'm too fugly for OF. Shit, now I'm sad 😟😞
ОтветитьHis hair is 10/10
ОтветитьI’m a designer trying to code and it’s only been a few days and I was struggling with the simplest thing and I was so scared of googling it cus I didn’t want to feel like I was “cheating”/ and just struggle through it cus that’s how I learned to do things
ОтветитьDoes coding require alot of math?
Ответитьhes like a really young cool uncle
great info - thank you
I’m a newbie. What does the terminal have to do with coding?
ОтветитьThanks for the video!
Ответить05,09,2023 day one of starting my journey to code (29)
Ответитьcoding jesus
ОтветитьBro, Opened this video thinking it was going to be some nonsense self-help thing for starting a new career. I was wrong. I'm a project manager for a construction company and I hate it, or at least I dislike thinking that that is what I'm going to do with the rest of my life... I approached code - Java - way back at the recommendation of some former friends who pushed me into it WAY to quickly.
I've found I struggle with remembering, not learning, if that makes any since? So for me repetition is the name of the game. I've recently pulled up my old CodeAcademy Account and started over to see if I can get this. The way people describe me It really does seem like coding is the mindset for me.
Watching the first half of the video I MOST DEFINITELY am a problem solver. At work I've had to tell them, "don't ask me I don't get paid like those IT guys," just to keep my co-workers from having me solve problems for them. I would have to whole-heartily agree that I am a problem solver; why not give enough info to the next person if it helps them take a step a bit easier? I've found that I am the only one - at work - that thinks that way.
Thank you for this video. I book marked it and will watch it again when I get to each step of my journey. Because I didn't really understand the end half but I'm hoping this is for me. I'm hoping, praying, trying and seeking after a new path that fits my mind way better. You laid out this info in a manner that really took hold. I don't normally type this much.
Thank you!
Brilliant! Thank you for your amazing content! Your video gets a bit high-level for me, but that's exactly what I wanted out of a video like this: a high-level overview of everything involved in becoming a software developer. Also, you have a very nicely edited video. I normally look for problems and have complaints, but your video is perfect from start to finish. Thank you, Namanh Kapur, for your uber-high-quality content. I have "liked" and "subscribed" as I want to take every action possible to support your exemplary work!
ОтветитьSoftware only deals with what can be done with a set of bits (hardware instructions). It is not which compiler you pick (they all do the same thing), it is the environment that they implement which is the bare minimum logic, they are all bad. We need to move away from software compilers. Software compilers do not work, they all do the same thing, they all take the same amount of effort (man years of work). Software is a dead end technology. With 48 years of experience, I am still doing what I did when I started. Same arguments, same fads, same religion, same issues, same amount of work. No advancement at all. Pretty pictures, but nothing more. The technology is getting slower, and more restrictive.
Ответитьbut i cant even concentrate on what youre saying when your hair is that pretty
ОтветитьHeat waves slaps titties
ОтветитьThe most useless video on the internet ever
ОтветитьYo that was a great video, thanks bro
Ответитьi m from animation industry and want to learn python
ОтветитьAnd he accomplished all this while battling helium addiction
Ответитьpls, I need your help to become a coder. I watched your video and I'm impressed. I'll be glad to have a personal class with you. Pls do this for me for God's sake. Be my teacher my mentor my role model
ОтветитьThank you so much for summarizing it all so well!
Ответитьthis is good BUT one thing none of these experts or gurus are saying is how to get started, for instance whats a terminal? Like the setting up process and the hardware part
Ответитьgood video very imformative and in depth
ОтветитьLets Just say Google is the best thing that made by man kind...
ОтветитьI recently got my Engineering degree and I learned how to use all sorts of coding languages, but I mostly worked with C/C++, assembly, and other very "bottom up" languages that required myself to act as the system. Now, I really want to learn Phython and I've tried learning so many times, but I always tend to overcomplicate it because it's a language that assumes many things for you.
Do you have any advice for approaching Python with a beginner mindset when I'm already in so deep in lower level languages? Python will be absolutely needed during my Masters degree for modeling purposes, and I'm starting to feel a bit defeated 😢
So true with the humility as a requirement. Im majoring in computer science engineering and if i could only have one dollar per annoying, cocky, and self-centered guys who i have met and who think their codes are the best and only they are correct i would be rich
ОтветитьSeems like a great video, I often seeks the comments feedback before even look the video, that's ensure me that is a cool one. Many tks to everyone who write your thoughts, bless to all.
Greetings for peru..
I'm learning Java... Kill me
ОтветитьHere's some instant encouragement for the majority of this community. Vocational Computer Science H.S. Dip, some Computer Science college courses, United States Marine E-5 called to arms (Gulf War) interrupting my studies, United Parcel Supervisor upon return, realized the cost of having children is very expensive, applied and was accepted for a Law Enforcement Job, retired 25 years later in present time, (Here's the encouraging part I referenced earlier) I'm exploring, again, my original passion for Computer Science. Focusing into Cybersecurity / Programing. So after that long winded introduction. What's my point you say? Great question! I'm now 53 years young looking for my part two(2) in life diving into certifications, reading books, exploring communities like this one in an attempt to sponge everything I can to help me achieve my goal to become a cybersecurity expert. When I started the only terminal was MS DOS and the only language was BASIC programing. I'm going to get mine. Nothing should stop you from getting yours. Stay Blessed and never stop expanding your 'brain-housing-group'. 😉👍
ОтветитьThanks Namanh
ОтветитьThanks Namanh
ОтветитьPart 1: Your mindset
Adopt a coding mindset (Have it)
Learn how to problem solve (Enjoying this)
Part 2: Learning how to code

Learn scripting (DONE - Learned Shell fairly well)
Create a personal project (DONE - Created 4 personal projects)
Practice for interviews (To do)
Part 3: Your developer environment
Learn the terminal - (DONE)
Learn your way around an editor - (Need to save money for mac first)
Learn git and become familiar with version control - (On it)
One thing that could be added is - Learning from Open source repositories which is helping me.
Covered in last 1 year - Python3, SQL, Shell, HTML/CSS, Javascript, Java and lots of maths.
Does ability to solve logic puzzles help
