Would this help removing a dusty/moldy smell when I turn on the heat? I recently changed the coolant in my car and the old one was still surprisingly very clean.

Hey Chris loved the video! So I actually replaced my heater core but am still having the same problems that you stated in the beginning of this video, could it be my radiator? Thanks for you time!

Residential water pressure is typically around 50 to 60 psi, regardless of how closed or open the spigot valve is. Should the heater core be really clogged, that water pressure will build and quickly exceed 10psi. Just something to consider.

I'm in need of flushing my heater core (never flushed this one) and I'm hoping my house water pressure won't hurt anything.

Question. On my prius I flushed the heater core, got a new water pump and thermostat, changed the head gasket, blead the air out of the system, and IM STILL GETTING LOW HEAT. Takes like 15 min for the heat to come on. Though I see mh climate control when set to auto kicks up the fan in about 5 min when car reaches operating temp. It blows hard thinking the coolant is hot, but the air is still blowing room temp. Any ideas?

I have heat now, by God. Thanks. I used to flush my heater cores and radiators all the time, but this is the first core I've done in 20 years

Did you end up having to burp your system afterwards?

Why not flush the whole system. If the heater core is that dirty. The rest of the water in the system has sediment in it also. The heater core will just clog up again.

SORRY BUT THIS VIDEO IS EDITED/FAKED/ COMPLETELY INCORRECT. THE WATER SUPPLY MUST BE CONNECTED TO THE BLUE END OF THE ADAPTER BECAUSE WATER WILL ONLY FLOW ONE WAY THROUGH IT. IT IS CALLED A BACKFLOW PREVENTER AND THE WATER LINE MUST BE CONNECTED TO THE BLUE SIDE, NOT THE BLACK SIDE AS SHOW IN THIS VIDEO. SO DISAPPOINTED, BELIEVE ME I JUST USED THE EXACT SAME CONNECTOR YESTERDAY AND WATER WILL NOT SLOW THROUGH IT THE WAY HE HAS IT CONNECTED.
