The Quarry - Story Explained

The reason I mentioned Caleb dying, is because The Quarry’s ‘Everyone Lives’ Movie Mode plays out that way. It’s come to light now that Caleb can in fact survive.

Ive played this game . Im only 3 min into the video and you are making assumptions and not telling the story of the game.
All you had to do was actually play the game. I dont think you even did that

Who kills Silas if Travis kills Laura?

In Kayleys letter you can see that they didnt intentionally burned the circus. She wrote "f*ck we were just kids!!" They wanted to help Silas escpate but didnt mean to burn the circus down.

My ending included all the Hacketts except Travis met their demise, which wasn't particularly impactful for me. However, the part that truly saddened me was my inability to rescue Jacob from the basement. This failure led to his tragic death, which occurred when Laura tampered with the fusebox during her confrontation with Jedediah. This outcome for Jacob was especially disheartening.

Caleb can be saved, but he's the only Hackett

The in game audio by the character sounds off. Like they didn't bother tuning it so tgat it didn't just sound like it was recorded 8n a studio. They all sound like they are just talking to eachother in a studio room, ala podcast

This whole thing could have been prevented if the teenagers did as they were told and wernt idiots

It is a pity that I as Max left the island and was killed in the final.

God this game was frustrating compared to Until Dawn. My choices didn't matter that much at all besides getting people killed. The whole gun thing with Dylan and Ryan was completely pointless because they always end up leaving it with the other group. The whole prison segment was completely pointless. 

The only choice I was happy with was getting Emma and her unnaturally huge mouth killed early in the game. If I ever play it again I'm going for 100% deaths.

So basicly the family did everything they could to prevent the tragedy and it all went down to hell Because of stupid youngsters

My only gripe with the game is that theres no way to save literally everyone except silas. Theres no way to prevent kayleighs death, and the lives of the Hackett family are directly affected by saving certain counselors' lives

Um is Constance Hackett played by Lin Shay? Also is Jedadiah Hackett played by Lance Hendrickson? I can't tell without hearing the voices.

Btw, how did Kaitlyn not know Jacob sabotaged the car? HE STRAIGHT UP ASKED HER HOW SHE WOULD GO ABOUT IT.
She never brings it up.

Why they can just kill Silas in human form? they have control of north kill and they can just bait the kid to show even they didn't know it's looks, I'm pretty sure Silas is always visiting her mother circus.they waited 6 years every full moon to hunt Silas and yet they can't contain thier grandchild to chain at home.

im about 900 months too late, but I think that the game actually did have a bigger backbone, but ran out of time/ got infinitely more complicated due to covid. I believe they said at a certain point the actors could no longer record in person, and the director was in the UK trying to coordinate everything. IT was probably too much to get new actors on board for whatever big reveal flashbacks they had planned, and had to use who they already had...just eliza. You can see the Hackett history, the way the posters were old timey and vintage, the bootlegging stills.

I think SGS had it 100% correct with their guess. that originally they were going to have it that the ye olde hacketts were bootleggers that accidentally started a fire while running booze, and in order to cover it up they blamed it on the travelling circus and the townspeople set it ablaze. Hank the sheriff likely had more to do with it as well, as they brought his badge up in the flashback. I really think they had a greater plan, and everything else got in the way so they had to stick a 'what is feasible right now' cap on it. Which is why I don't count this as bad, so much as unfinished. I hope we get a round two here with the Until Dawn-esque big budget games now that covid is over.

A bit late, but Constance can survive by Laura failing the QTE when they struggle for the shotgun
Edit: In order to get The Hunter Jedediah and Constance through the game alive, you need to not stab Bobby when prompted, and this allows him to fend off the attack on the group of Jed, Ryan, Constance, Travis and Bobby by Laura, who attacks Travis, and Chris, who attacks the others.

A shotgun, unless loaded with birdshot, would absolute mess up anyone at that range.

Caleb survives if Caitlyn is infected and she AND Caleb are locked in the freezer and Dylan can free them. He can also survive if Caitlyn and Dylan are both infected in the final chapters and you DON'T choose kitchen, because Caleb will go after Caitlyn in the lobby but ignore he once he sees she's infected. Caleb can survive just like anyone else, but you need to choose certain circumstances.

makes no sense because the game does not show Max being bit by a werewolf at the beginning so how can he be a werewolf in the middle of the game. that's a major big plot hole

don't understand why the counselors at the beginning at first don't know what's going on would assume to cut off someone's limb it's just a bite. specially they don't know what's going on at first. I guess they like chopping people's hands off 😂😂😂😂

The werewolves look more like ghouls copycatted from some Undead outbreak game. Seriously, deep fall from Hollywood, Mister Raimi.

This game could have been a bit better if they flushed out a few more things such as the hag, the fight against Silas, Chris relationship with Ryan, and us actually seeing the police investigate and interrogate everyone and us possibly using the evidence gathered instead of it being used in a terrible podcast that most of us skip through.

The game is garbo, the story reads like a bunch of horror nerds got together, wrote down their fave horror movie plus a trope, put it in a hat then stitched together a story out of whatever they pulled out. The werewolves are the absolute worst werewolves I have ever seen outside of the giant rat thing from Harry Potter that Lupin turned into, they look like they just re-skinned the wendigo from Until Dawn and slapped a muzzle on it.
