Electric cars won't take over, they're not feasible because their batteries require complex mining for scarce lithium. Like Covid19 it's a scare and ICE vehicles are not going anywhere. Electric will be around for the wealthy once the lithium starts succumbing to economics of scarcity. There's just too much crude oil going around that still needs to be enjoyed through 6-8 cylinders and a small silencer😊

BMW m3 just needs to be lowered and i like the grille but put a CSL. Adro, or Vorstiener and its perfection. Makes the old bmw look old and slow. Love the g80 and g82. Even the new m2 is distinctive and great looking. Theres a reason bmw has skyrocketed past merc and audi in sales.

Just moved from an F80 to a G80 and Chris is unbelievably on point when he said it has lost a lot of character but really makes up for it in capability. The generational leap has never been bigger. I will miss the insanity of the F80, but in the same way I do not miss the insanity of a crazy ex girlfriend. Growing up can be sad and beautiful at the same time.

G80 m3 are proper ugly mess

personally i love this car, sure its more soft and smoothe compared to the last model but wow, design and performance i love it!!

I don't mind the front grill, and the rest of the car is really growing on me. I like it more than the last model for sure. I think his complaints were rather petty to be fair.

I’ve got the M4 version of this and Chris gets a few details wrong. For example, he complains about the lane departure feature but that can be permanently programmed off in ‘individual’ settings.

I’ve had loads of M cars over twenty years and, for me, every one has been better than the last once you get to know it. I mourned the end of Motorsport engines, the introduction of electric steering, the end of DCT gearbox, the introduction of the new grille but I was wrong every time. They just get better.

Well lemme tell you smth, extrapolate a bit, and the mirrors and the interior dashboard shape resambles to the back in the days e46. This car is just a modern concept representation of a 99 e46 M3 and i just love it from head to tail.

Perhaps Chris has gotten too used to driving super/hyper cars, but for me personally who is coming from driving VW Tiguan everyday, the engine and its power absolutely blew my mind when I test drove the M4!

ok lets be be the 3 and 5 series have been BORING as HELL to look at for the last 20 years. Remove the badges and they literally look like a honda or toyota . at least now they look like something

the f80 is legendary

I loved the reviews so much I went out and bought a new M3. Disappointingly I have owned the car for a year and a half now and my car has been at a BMW dealership awaiting a faulty part from Germany for two months. the sad part is that it is not a major part. I have written to BMW Australia and they are unresponsive as to when the part will arrive in Australia and my car repaired. Very poor customer service from what I thought was a trusted brand. They hide behind a call center located in the Philippines which are trained just to fob you off. disgraceful at best. As it stands I am paying very expensive finance and insurance for a car I cant even drive and have no idea when I will get it back.

It’s just the fact there’s no beauty to it. Like the licence plate slapped over the front of the grill doesn’t look right. Last good looking BMW is the F series M2

Chris's objective opinion really helps the consumer make a choice on whether it's a car for you or not?

Top presenter and he does a great video. The car it self doesn’t look exciting like the last M3 , bmw really messed up with the design.
I was waiting for it to come out so I could buy my first M3 and now I’m just disappointed with the looks of it,
In Australia the car is approximately 200k and you would expect a lot more looks wise as most people that see the car say they don’t like it. I guess I was just disappointed because I know they can do way better.

Terrible styling, the grill is bugs bunny 🐰.. I don't recommend anyone buy this.
I get mine in October so I'll let you know how bad it truly is. Seriously don't bother ordering one, it's literally a year wait list at the moment. I hate it so much I had to have one 🙄
