well i upgraded to a 5900x a month ago and it seems i made the right choice.

I keep thinking of upgrading my 3600 to pair with my new 3080 but really for 1440p I have a hard time convincing myself its worth it, couple hundred dollars for 10-15fps is hard its nice to see the higher number but I double I can feel 120fps vs 130fps, probably cant feel it till your are up to 144 or more

just to add context. I need to see the gpu usage to see if the cpu is bottlnecking the gpu and if so By how much. I need the 1% low to see if the framerate is more consistant compaired to stuttery. I need to see the power usage to see if my powersupply will be fine or not. I need to see the frame time graph to see stutters and latency. I need to see temps to make sure cpu does not downclock becuase of bad temps. I need to see ram usage to see if game uses more ram the 16gb for example. All this usefull data was removed. now your videos are useless.

Never been so happy to have my "CHEAP" 3600! 15FPS would be nice but I can wait for the next, NEXT GEN cpu.

97~100% of the performance, for up to half the price, and with extremely lower power consumption. The 5600x is clearly the winner, and as soon as we go higher than 1440p the difference tends to be permanently zero.

Thanks for the vid mate! I'm glad to see I don't have to upgrade my 3900X to a newer one (playing on 1440p with a 3080 as well). The difference is negligible and I already (kinda) fine tuned my 3900X so the difference would be even smaller in my case.

Just upgraded from 3600x to 5900x and it's nice. But still got rx5700xt which I want to upgrade to rtx3080. I am Gaming at 1440 on 32 inch monitor.
