You should color the strands or put colored tape on the ends

ОтветитьI need to know how to do this on a rope with a center strand and 6 strands around it.
ОтветитьThey are durable and feel like just battle ropes I have used at the gym. Excellent addition to a home gym.
ОтветитьThis was the absolute best and easiest video to follow. THANK YOU 🙏
ОтветитьI see so many people doing it upside down. On the fishing vessel I worked on in Alaska they taught us to flip it around and hook the loop over something so you can pull it tight tight. Trying to pull away from you tighten a splice is never as effective as toward you and tightness is importanto. Thanks for the vid
ОтветитьNearly got the marriage tuck,(first set of tucks) right. Otherwise the rest of very well explained, from an old sling maker.
ОтветитьThank u.
ОтветитьGood tutorial, but... Even on 2x speed there's still all sorts of pauses and wasted time. Drink some coffee, dude.
ОтветитьGreat video, easy to follow, thanks.
ОтветитьMy Dad (❤RiP) had this down pat. All our ropes had these or tidy spliced ends, and I regret not getting him to teach me. Thank you for this clear and concise tutorial; today is the day I finally learned how to do it!
ОтветитьVery much explained I am splicing my own birthing rope myself through your Chanel. Mark Bezzina

Today we're doing a "splice knot." With that said, time to get knotty...
ОтветитьThanks! ✌️
ОтветитьThank you. This is a really great explanation. As always.
ОтветитьOmg ty for this
ОтветитьThe thumbinal💀
ОтветитьWhite on white background makes it impossible for my old eyes to see what you're doing. Thanks all the same.
ОтветитьMy father used to do these splicing knots, but I have not learned. He passed away so many years ago. I was looking for how to do these knots for many years! Thank you very much for teaching.
ОтветитьOMG. These instructions suck
Ответитьhow do you do it if you have 4 strands? i cant find any videos for 4 strand
ОтветитьVery clear thanks
ОтветитьWhite on white brilliant horrible video Don't Waste Your Time
ОтветитьClear simple instructions, I'm going to make a dog lead now cos I'm too tight to buy one and I have a shed load of various cordage
ОтветитьWoww rambo lol
ОтветитьThanks from Austria. Very easy to understand, great job.
ОтветитьThank you Sir!
ОтветитьLots of heavy breathing and long pauses
ОтветитьEverytime I need to splice I always come back to this video. The easiest most basically explained splicing video there is 👌
ОтветитьGreat video, I'm about to make some tricep rope attachments for my gym/weights setup and this has helped hugely!
Thankyou 👍
Sudah pernah 🌏
ОтветитьIt only makes sense if you already know how to do it.
ОтветитьWould love to have seen the finished project, but wasn't shown.
ОтветитьOne of the worst
ОтветитьHow much weight can this hold ? I want to make a loop for my knife
ОтветитьTiny white line with a white background ? And a pen to demonstrate instead of a fid or something that could actually show the location ? And a single light source ?
ОтветитьI'm just gonna get a bigger one and put it on my head and we are all set
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьI don't know??
Why KNot?
- Good clear explanation.
--- How is it "finished"?
Taped?
Are the loose ends tucked?
or?
Scouts was a long, long time ago. Thank ya sir, for the refresher.
ОтветитьHow to splice an eye in 3 strand rope
ОтветитьMate, you are very good, but you need to learn to speak without saying "just" every sentence.
ОтветитьNice, simple explanation, THANKS!
ОтветитьWorked in the fishing industry for 40 years and spliced many a ropes my father taught me when i was young
ОтветитьI must need a even bigger screen. I've got a Samsung S8+ & I'm struggling to see the splice up close... Nothing wrong with my near sight as yet... Just need a zoom function...
Is it me ?
I’m very late to the party as this just popped up on my feed. Do you happen to have a 3-5 strand inline connection to a chain so it can go through a windlass in your repertoire?
ОтветитьThank you so much
ОтветитьI suspect if you do some research you will learn that you do not "tie" an eye splice. You "splice" an eye.
ОтветитьGet yourself one of these splicing doodadds, I have mine attached to a loop hanging off my wrist, it's great.
ОтветитьVery concise 👍🏻
