Imagine being a child and having the maturity and presence of mind to tell your dying mom that it's okay to let go. Christine's story is so heart-wrenching yet inspirational at the same time. A part of me hopes that she doesn't catch her "white whale" until she is at the end of her years so that she always has a way to connect with the mom she lost.

I liked Christine, from the 1st time that I saw her. People do not realize that a person who loses one of their skills experiences the enhancement of their other skills. I cheered for her, the entire season and was ecstatic when she won. I immediately bought her cookbook when it was published and have enjoyed making her dishes. BRAVO.

"Inspirational" isn't a strong enough word. I fight my own inner demons and I watch her story when I need to snap myself out of it. If a lady who is BLIND can be a MasterChef, there are NO excuses for anyone else, IMO. Well done Chistine! You are a roll model.

I think the season after hers was the last season I watched of Master Chef. There was no greater feeling from the show I could've gotten after watching Christine's rise to success.

She made me cry . What ever she shared with us about her life, her mom, losing her … we can relate with it 💯

Her victory was completely unfair - she did hardly anything on her own, always having an assistant. She was basically the executive chef, and all her dishes were cooked by 2 people while the others only had themselves.

Goes to show you whatever your wall is, its not to high you cant start climbing it or knocking it down altogether. Bravo Christine!!!
