The one thing I'm curious about is if the LG GX has a separate IO box like the Samsung with their one connect box. The Samsung one connect feature is extremely useful for people that like the clean wall mount look and only having to deal with one connect going through the wall. Please confirm with me if the GX has that feature?

I’m wondering if the GX can be mounted with a standard vesa mount. Can it?

The difference between the GX and cx is more than aesthetics isn't it? Doesn't the GX have better speakers and a 3.0 tuner? Also Voice command capabilities?

I have the 55 inch C8 and wondering to upgrade to the 65 inch GX. Is the upgrade worth it other than increased size and wall mount? Or should I wait for the G1 or newer models coming out?

So I'm trying to pick what tv. This is obviously a video from april but I was wondering if you still had the same stance in terms of the difference between the cx and the gx after playing the playstation 5 on the gx? With this video you said it was more about esthetics, than the tvs capabilities.

I just bought this TV Yesterday, and boy do i look forward to Jan 4th when i get it!. Not gonna go for an LG Soundbar, they are just not up to par yet on sound, am gonna buy a heck of a good soundbar system that can be wallmounted right under my BEAUTIFUL new LG GX65" ! <3

I debated buying the GX but for £300 extra when im not going to wall mount it seems not worth it!

You know I don't need special. I needed a great looking tv with legs because I can't mount it, just like you couldn't mount yours. Good luck finding legs for the thing though because they don't exist on the internet for immediate purchase, backorder only. Buy the tv today get the stands 4 weeks later.

Considering the GX (£2,399) over the CX (£1,999) at current UK prices. Will need the optional stand (£99) though, as not currently able to wall mount. I just expect to keep my next TV for at least six years, and would like the more streamlined/flushed option of wall mounting in the future. Might wait for the next version to be released, and see if there are any further discounts as retailers look to refresh their stock.

QUESTION.. I am gonna purchase this tv. I would like to place it above the fire place. my question is does the wall mount tilt? the fireplace is at a high level so I would break my neck watching this tv over a long period of time. if it doesnt would it be kind of pointless buying this tv if I would just have to get a different mount for a slight tilt? would I be better off buying the CX model?

I know I’m late to the party, but the reason I searched for this review is that the GX has ATSC 3.0 built in. When I bought my first HD set (rear projection Mitsubishi WS-55809) it had no ATSC 2.0 and I had to buy an external tuner when stations started switching over. I don’t want to go through that again when I buy a 4K display finally.
