Velvet.....what a great name for a snake.
ОтветитьLol, the audio is fake af
ОтветитьThey can bite through their mouths to get at things holding them IE people.
ОтветитьHow is it that they named a wild snake?
ОтветитьOh come on, I want to see how it's going to swallow that big bird.
Ответитьthere area many fact filled comments here and the few i read were mostly correct/ accurate. but there's something obvious thats missing in these comments. let me spell it out for those who dont know. its one of the top 5/ top 7 worst snakes to get bit by. reasons are too many to list. just remember, even with ideal conditions, with anti venom present, and expert medical assistance immediately available. youll still almost guranteed loose a limb / portion of it/ where youre bitten, medical expenses will be equivalent to US$100k+ and youre still 50/50 gonna die. it can not be stressed enough that you wanna avoid getting bitten by this fkr. its a horrifying end for those who do.
Ответить“Velvet” 🤨 who wrote these stories?
ОтветитьGaboon viper strikes its prey lightning quick. It has one of the fastest striking speeds among snakes, with its head moving at about 175 mph - 200 mph.
ОтветитьIs it just me that's wondering if the bird is gonna fit in the snake?
ОтветитьGaboon viper is scary snake but in reality is mit and low aggressive...
ОтветитьDon't hoit the boid
ОтветитьDocumentary looks like a horror story
ОтветитьThat bird literally looked at the camera as if to say “can you believe what just happened?!”
ОтветитьI remember watching, On tv, Years ago, "Creature From The Black Gaboon".
Ответить20 feet per second?!! I HIGHLY doubt that
ОтветитьWell, you know, I get hungry every day. So does that snake. It has to eat....
The problem for the snake? It has a brain the size of two grains of rice, it is about as intelligent as a can of tuna. It can BARELY figure out when a mouse is right in front of it's mouth!
Amazing.
ОтветитьThat bird almost looked as though it had come to terms with what was happening and died peacefully.
ОтветитьFurther proof God doesn’t exist.
ОтветитьNice, can I mag dump a mini gun on it now?
Ответитьnative to africa more so central and west africa
ОтветитьWell actually snakes can’t unhinge their jaws, they’re just not fused together at the chin so they can spread their lower jaws as they open them.
ОтветитьSNAKES DO NOT UNHINGE OR DISLOCATE THEIR JAWS!!! This is the third Smithsonian documentary I've heard say this. Shame on Smithsonian for not doing any research before spreading false info.
ОтветитьSnakes are the most disgusting insidious creatures on gods earth. Yukkkk.
ОтветитьThe Gaboon is no bafoon thats for sure .
ОтветитьMany years ago I worked on a farm in Northern Ontario Canada, the farmer kept some of these birds as an always on alarm system, nothing could get near them without them causing them to start making a noise, great for keeping snakes and other wild animals away from the chickens and other livestock.
ОтветитьI hope not but it appears to me that the Guinea fowl was put in the vicinity of the viper to make this video.
Ответитьdinosaurs and reptiles...never ending...wow...
ОтветитьThere’s no snake that could handle a Gaboon, very big and strong venomous snake that just sits and waits to ambush.
ОтветитьI thought I was going to see a Gabon viper getting a bird flying by!!!😂😂😂
ОтветитьVelvet needs her fangs adjusted with a Beretta .12 ga.
ОтветитьPAPANOORIN KITA HANGGANG UBUSIN MO PATI KALAHI MO.....*
Ответитьgood quick death. the bird just went to sleep.
Ответитьmisses initial strike
Viper: "Ah, good sir, can you remove that part? It's embarassing."
Narrator: "I can't. However I will just call it just like how any professional would say - a slight miscalculation .
I guess I can't really be disturbed seeing as how I'm eating chicken while watching this.
ОтветитьThat was whack! I think it’s because the snake missed its first strike it left me unimpressed.
ОтветитьThe camera man though
ОтветитьIncredible thanks for the list
ОтветитьThat was some good camera work. It does raise the problem of evil, though. The camera person just watched while a chicken got killed by a snake. The camera person had the power to stop it, and the knowledge of how to stop it, but apparently lacked the goodness to stop it.
ОтветитьSnake bites bird. Steps back for the camera. Now watch this. This snake is intelligent af. It's like nah your dead bro. Let me stretch my fangs out real quick.
ОтветитьSnakes are so patient when it comes to food unlike some humans ;)
ОтветитьSo she did not get poisoned by her own venom that flown inside the bird's vein?
ОтветитьGuinea fowls. Quite tasty, but not a lot of flesh.
Ответитьthat serpent looks demonic
ОтветитьSnake be like, sorry im lagging-SIKE! Gottem
ОтветитьThis documentary is the reason why I own 2 western diamondbacks, a male Gaboon viper (same species as velvet) and a Saharan sand viper in my venomous snake collection
ОтветитьI think Velvet executed the ambush perfectly! The bird was so surprised.
