Great video super explanation, kudos to you sir.👍
ОтветитьMany thanks. The way you explain stuff is so clear. It helps and saves me a lot of headaches. 👍
ОтветитьI am able to record guitar on track 1 but i am not able to get any sound from my guitar when i arm track 2 to record a 2nd guitar track. Not sure what i am doing wrong? My guitar is plugged into input 1. Any advice?
ОтветитьGreat video thanks
ОтветитьHelpful video thanks. Can different insert effects be applied to each track?
ОтветитьI have to say you are amazing at this explaining/demonstrating business, best I've ever watched.............you'rve saved my brain a lot of frying time;
ОтветитьSo insert FX can be one different one on each channel in the final mix?
ОтветитьI've spent all morning trying to work that out. It's not in the manual!! Thanks so much.
ОтветитьCan i use different Insert effects on each tracks? Like track 1 has Wah and Track 2 has Crunch and so on? Cheers.
ОтветитьThese are very helpful. Starting from scratch. It is apparent to me that a stand alone is step one.
ОтветитьGreat vídeos! Greetings from Brasil
ОтветитьThank you kind sir !
ОтветитьI think there's something I missed here: if I want to have effects on a final mix, can I add the effect to the final recording during mixing?
ОтветитьHello Gaz, is there a way of increasing the volume of a track that has already been recorded ? Thanks, Dan.
ОтветитьOnce I create a send effect, can I bus other tracks through it?
ОтветитьI am going to return the unit. I had BIG expectations but it left me down. The final straw was that I finally fully realised that THERE IS NO WAY TO USE ANY EFFECTS ON THE MASTER channel...mostly because there is no Master Channel. What a shame, I had pushed myself to accept all other shortcomings, but not being able to at least LIMIT my final mix is too much for me. Please tell me if I am overseeing anything. This thing has evolved from a real mini recording board (old generation) to just another Guitar pedal rack. That's what it really is. Nothing more than that
ОтветитьThanks for your R20 videos I’m in the process of setting mine up I use it almost extensively with my Roland Jupiter XM to produce music I also add electric guitar tracks and use Guitar Lab for effects
ОтветитьWhy when I turn on the compressor, limiter, noise reduction on on each track there is no change on the sound? Its like its no differences with it on or off? Is there something I'm not doing right? It only works when pre-recording but not after track been recorded or on play back.
ОтветитьHi Gaz, I decided to try the factory reset and I am now able to access the "Matchless" effect option and proceed. Hooray !
At ease men.....Thanks again, Dan.
Can anybody compare this to the L12 or L20 from zoom? More so about the reliability, crashing, glitchiness, etc...
ОтветитьHello Gaz, when I am in the "guitar effects" mode, whenever I try to choose the "Matchless" option, a gray pop-up box says " Process overflow. Change the effects to one that uses less processing power. Use Guitar Lab to check the processing power".
I am able to utilize the other guitar effects options without issue but I am unable to proceed with the Matchless option (which, of course, is the one I would like to sample for a clean sound - a Fender Deluxe with a bit of crunch sound).
Will I need to perhaps reset the Zoom to to its Default setting ?
Thanks, as always, Dan.
Take the fun out of recording much ?
ОтветитьDo the send effects have to be the same across all tracks? Can I use a reverb on one track and a delay on another?
ОтветитьCan you add an insert effect to a track you already recorded?
Ответитьdoes guitar lab allow us to install vst or au effects from online?
ОтветитьThank you so much for all your tutorials for this amazing tool! I'm learning a lot with your videos! Thanks again!
ОтветитьCan you play the track while adjusting the parameters on the effects screen?
ОтветитьThis is another great, practical explanation for things that would seem really complicated if they were only in writing or diagrams. I easily understood everything you covered here, and now I know the difference between send and inset, and that a patch is a set of effects. One of the best 13 min 20 sec I've ever spent in learning about audio...well, there was that time I flipped the tape in my old Tascam 414 and heard my music backwards, but that was a different kind of learning altogether.
ОтветитьHello, your videos are incredibly helpul! Do send effects also work in interface mode? to have live monitoring from the zoom but record dry into the daw? that would be incredibly helpful for low latency recording.
Cheers and thank you for your work
I've played with my R20 for a week now. Without your tutorials, I would've sent it back. I have many questions, but the most pressing question is if you've found a way to nudge tracks, like a non-quantized grid way to nudge a bass track off the top of the beat. Years of rock bass made me play right on the front edge of The Bubble... I'd like to lay my bass back a few milliseconds w/out it landing a 32nd note away.
Thanks again for the lessons.
Sir. I watched all of your videos. Thank you for your time. My unit will be here in a few days and I look forward to it.
ОтветитьVery well explained! 👍
ОтветитьNow makes sense. Much appreciated. Cheers
ОтветитьThanks. This is very helpful.
