ОтветитьCan I sub a rubber/plastic face mallet instead of the rawhide or are they too soft?
ОтветитьExcellent video, answered so many of my questions..
ОтветитьMy bf said he'll only say yes if i make a pure silver ring with unique patterns on it 🥲
Ответитьpropane melts silver just fine...
ОтветитьQuick warning on superglue. Superglue releases cyanide when you heat it up. Definitely stay in a ventilated area.
ОтветитьWow! Nice finish
ОтветитьExcellent video. We’ll done
ОтветитьHow would I put diamonds on a ring with out much tools
ОтветитьQuality is so poor
ОтветитьSilver is my favorite metal. Gold for me is just a currency, but silver is something I love to have on my skin. Try making a "Namejs" [Namey] (Nameja gredzens) ring. It is an acient viking ring design as well popular in Latvia.
ОтветитьNice jacket
ОтветитьWhat if you don’t use the rolling mill?
ОтветитьJust curious why not just do a ring mold then there would be no sodering?
ОтветитьA Celestino zanno ni to dimmiscei il padre di CHETTI
Ответитьwear a mask while applying thouse super glue spray
ОтветитьI have this exact same roller
ОтветитьReally interesting and great that you showed how to make the ring using cheaper ways
Ответить"Silver Ring from Scraps on a Budget" inserts ingot into $300 rolling mill
Ответитьwhy you joined woden sticks to make a silver stuff straight? is not okay to make or get an iron mould?
ОтветитьWould that be cheaper than an oxygen torch? Just wondering
ОтветитьBleach will also give that look. Found out by accident.
ОтветитьDon’t know if anyone will see this, but is it possible to do this without the roller? This is something I’d like to get into and I have basically everything but that, and don’t have much extra money at the moment
ОтветитьIs that just water you squirted at the end?
ОтветитьWhat were the crucible tongs that you can hold w bare hands? Where can o get that tong crucible combo?
ОтветитьHey if I hit 1000 subs but the end of the year can I have the green glow ring that's black at day for free :)
ОтветитьNot less affective but more time consuming...
ОтветитьCan’t you just use a mold?
Ответитьhave you priced a mill $$$
ОтветитьWhat's sawdar?
ОтветитьWrapping the pliers in electrical tape is pure genius!!! Thank you for that tip!!
ОтветитьI've never seen anyone try to fill such a huge gap with solder. You're a mad lad.
ОтветитьNice work but I prefer shiny white silver.
ОтветитьI have the same Jacket
ОтветитьNext time close the gap waste of solder
ОтветитьIf you continue to heat it as you pour you get all of it out of the crucible
ОтветитьThe question is who dislikes this?

ОтветитьI saw Ron Swanson do this once.
ОтветитьWait a second. You're lathe was only $500?! I could use one for car fabrication! That's not a bad investment!
ОтветитьA fantastic onsite for the beginner jeweller. Thank you.
ОтветитьSilver jewelry is my favorite kind of jewelry and this is the only video I've seen you do with silver is a low-budget video why
ОтветитьWho gives you these materials??
ОтветитьVery nice
ОтветитьPatrick, I subscribed because you are awesome. Keep on Keepin On! Thanks! @angelaksams
ОтветитьI’m not gonna be using my $500 lathe I’m gonna be using my $500 jewellery roller righttttt
ОтветитьYes more like this but can you do one using gold, and patina to it
ОтветитьTip: Don't use tin foil for soldering the ring joint. You will end up contaminating your silver because tin foil has a lower melting temperature than silver.
