ОтветитьHow long does bondo have to cure before you sand and prime? How long does primer have to dry before you can paint base coat? How long does paint have to dry before clear coat? I’m just painting my hood with rattle cans.
ОтветитьWhat kind of car painting process is 2 cm/p?
ОтветитьI love how you have like 20+ comprehensive beginner how to videos. The more I watch, the more confident I am going into this. Keep it going!
ОтветитьHi, could you give me a bit of help, I bought a car that has been repainted all under the hood area and it had a few chips in the paint so I started to repair it but then I found that the entire paint was just peeling off and had not stuck to the surface at all so I used a paint scraper and just remover every bit of the paint back to the original Black paint underneath as the car was originally Black but now I am wondering why the paint did not stick so I can do it again without the same problems. Can you give me any advice as to what to do now. Thanks.
ОтветитьNyc working

Is it true that urethane primers can be more porous than an epoxy high build primer? Why is it or when is it better to use a single stage vs a two stage base coat/clear? Thanks for great videos. Sub here

ОтветитьBrian: I’m painting my 1965 C10 where the top is white and the bottom half is Red. They meet without a trim piece. Question: should I mask each color where they meet or apply white then mask and paint over the white with the red. I’m way old school using single coat paint and no clear since in 1965 they didn’t use clear. Gary - in Nebraska

ОтветитьDo you let the paint fully dry before removing the masking tape and plastic
ОтветитьGreat Videos great job Question Had my car done professionally Car was down to mostly metal . Sigle stage paint was applied How many coats of paint should usually be applied on single stage ?
ОтветитьHello, dumb question. getting ready to paint a panel truck with a step ladder. center of the truck is too tall to reach from the ground. Using nason single stage paint. Should I paint the whole top of the truck with the 3 coats of paint then finish the sides. Maybe this will keep me from scratching the truck. What weather conditions and temps should I aim for? Or should i get up early in the morning to paint. Thanks Brian
ОтветитьHey bud u are awesome u have makes easy the job for me 🙌🏻 i have a question what do you think for the spray gun sata jet x5500 rp 1.3 I nozzle??
ОтветитьHey Brian. What 2k clear coat would you recommend for body and headlights?
ОтветитьGuarantee you that panel looked choppy, trying to block that big of an area with a tiny little block doesn’t work very well. Always use the longest block possible that also conforms to the shape of the panel.
ОтветитьAwesome job!
ОтветитьHi Brian can you put the putty on over the sanded paint
Ответить👍
🏎
Thank you, never too old to learn and you're a great teacher.
ОтветитьHow much did this job cost? I want to learn how to do estimates so i can do sideline.

ОтветитьGreat video Brian
ОтветитьSir job vacancy for ther
ОтветитьYou can actually see Brian filming in the reflection. Great work bro.
ОтветитьLooking good as always! Awesome job
ОтветитьHi Bryan, thanks very many for the awesome video. And all the teaching and you are a super painter. These videos are extremely useful to know what to do and what not to do. Obviously DIY ers and weekend warriors can not afford to buy all the stuff you use, that too for a small repair. But I get the gist of it, how to sand, apply bondo(putty) a very thin layer, and use black primer on a black color car (common sense) , how to make the surface very very flat and smooth, and how important is to make it bone dry, after cleaning it with super degreaser. Very very helpful tips for some one who never painted cars but fixed kids as a profession. Thanks Bryan, appreciate you.
ОтветитьExcellent instructional follow through on this video Brian! Better every day brother, thanks for all you do 😊👏👏👏🍻
ОтветитьSo if i had a perfectly fine part, factory painted, clear coat everything is fine. And i simply wanted to change the color. Do i sand down removing the old clear and base coat. Prime it and paint
Or sand the clear for the new paint or primer to grab onto to..
Beginner learning. Have some panels lying around i wanna practice on
Sagola what? I thought your DV1 was your favorite clear gun. I was about to buy one thinking it will help me with my novice clear skills even though I know it will not, but I can dream.
Great video as always. I learn something from each one and really appreciate the time and effort you put into them to share your knowledge and experience. I learn every time I spray including today when I made a huge clear mistake. That just means I get to sand and re-do tomorrow. Like you say, it is just paint.
'Thanks Brian! Love your videos. Very informative and full of great tips for us amateurs. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьThanks Brian.
ОтветитьBy the way, I forgot to ask where are you located? If I ever need you, I’m gonna come find you. 😂
ОтветитьExcellent work my friend. Beautiful job! I love the way you masked off the right way. You taped right to the front of the car the way it should be. You rarely see that people are always trying to cut corners. They say don’t worry it blends in. No need to overdo it. I just subscribed because you are wonderful.
