I can tell the voice is robotic, but the content is still of decent quality

I'm sorry, but the "uhm"s every couple of seconds make the video unwatchable for me. Might be on me though. Since this is AI generated anyway, I would recommend turning that off if possible.

I love Void. I'm using it with DWM. I was ill recently which prevented me to accessing the computer for months. So, the initial update was large to say the least. Yet, unlike Arch, Void updated without any issues. It simply works.

I use Void, but I have the Nix package manager installed to install software the Void repos lack. I may also install Homebrew, though I find Homebrew more usefull on macOS.

I installed void. I updated it daily until it wouldn't. Now I call it deVoid. I won't re-install this garbage.

Runit is great, xbps as well.
Have it as a main driver at home on the bare metal.
Using the Mate desktop, enjoying reading the docs whenever I need to. Getting additional details for packages on their website package search before I install them (being able to see new packages being added into the repos as well).
Haven't had to format it in years and it still works with peak performance.

The best thing is the customization ... It's a lot more similar to Arch than to Ubuntu. This means you can use it in a light/performant manner or convert it into a visually rich powerhouse. Best part is ... In any case, it would use less resources and just be better overall.

It is a rolling distro, but a very stable one at that ... meaning that in the rare cases that there would be issues, they are fixed within hours or few days.

I tried to install it on a spare laptop, I tried a few times but it would fail to install grub to /dev/nvme0n1, their installer clearly needs work

I don't think the um is as bad as that one dude said. But it does feel wierd hearing an obvious ai voice using it amd throws off the feeling.

Void reminds of Slackware, you have to do it on your own. It's been awhile since I used Linux, I wonder if you can do AI , machine learning stuff in Void or any Linux distro

Great video, but the robotic-ness of the voicover when paired with the incredibly common "um"s throughout. If you could use a script to avoid these (or just remove them if its fully robotic), I feel like the video would be a lot more listenable. Great info nonetheless

I have been using VOID for 3 years now.
The key is: rolling stable.
I am a full stack web developer and not a distro hopper. Previously I have used Debian for a about 20 years because I need "stability". Void gave me stability and latest software to work with.
