I love eating outside. So glad quarantine helped you rediscover this life pleasure.
ОтветитьNice job!!!
Ответитьlove the geeen you choose- great vid. cant wait to see it this summer
Ответить💕
ОтветитьGood job
ОтветитьThe rug is too small, would be better if it was under the chairs as well as the table. You could just remove it.
Ответитьlooking fresh and pretty 🌷
ОтветитьLooks awesome!!!
ОтветитьLooks great!!
ОтветитьBeautiful!!
ОтветитьYes to the power washer gift
ОтветитьIm so happy for u, its takes a super brave person to face up to a condition like urs. Bettering urself even thou it tests ur limits and then some. Stay strong lovely ❤️
ОтветитьLooks good! Switch the plants on the highest and second highest shelf in your greenhouse every other day, or maybe every day at lunch, so they get an equal amount of sun. The ones on the second highest shelf don't get as much sun because the highest shelf is blocking it. Which is why they aren't sprouting as fast
ОтветитьThursday: Errand day in Flylady. Since staying home I do my “errands “ at home online. Friday is car day and purse day so I might get ahead on that. Took up the old landscape fabric and watered fertilized areas of the lawn. Got the laundry done. Really had to kick myself in the tail today! Friday: Awaiting the mulch delivery . This will finally pull the landscaping look together. Been years of work, we have only been here five years. The property was very neglected but now in tidy condition.
ОтветитьLooks great!
ОтветитьI had a pot on my patio that was ruined from the weather :( Hopefully this year I'll be better organized.Still waiting for warmer weather before I was our porch. Your looks so nice.
ОтветитьCute, quick and impactful. I like these short update videos almost of tiny renovations of your house. They're relaxing to watch
ОтветитьI love watching the dirt disappear with a power washer. My dad did the drive and patio recently and they look like new! I had never thought of putting a carpet outside but I really like that look and pressure washing it was a great idea too, definitely makes it lower maintenance and I like the pattern on it. The new doormat is so cute and perfect for the summer when you’re going to be sitting out there. I also didn’t notice until we got a new one last year how much they get worn down being out all the time, I bet the new one works so much better than the old one did.
ОтветитьIt looks nice. We are doing our deck too this year. Almost finished 😊❤️
ОтветитьHello from Germany, you and hubby made a good Job, Looks better, be safe
ОтветитьIt came out so much better...a lovely place to enjoy with your family. And I appreciate that you worked with what you already had. Not buying new stuff, as you are debt-free now, is great progress too!!!! Big hugs 🥰🤗
ОтветитьThose flowers were beautiful match to your new pot color and trying or not, all your patterns share similar colors it's a very springy eclectic but I think it works!
ОтветитьBeautiful patio
ОтветитьGreat spot for a cup of tea, lunch, dinner or a game. Well done.
ОтветитьWow! What a big difference! Now you have such a colorful, cheerful space to spend time as a family. Great job!!
ОтветитьPaint the chairs the green you used on the pots. Would be cheerful and bright.
I have noticed changes in you , a lot of growth. Keep it going.
I've been wanting to get my patio furniture out but then I've been sick, have whiplash, husband doing different things. God Bless my husband tells me to go spend time outside and their is not place to sit down since our chairs are in the basement. Even though I have told him to bring out the chairs. Spray paint the furniture I did that on a small table for my patio save a lot of money. Next fall put the rugs sin the shed they last longer. Happy Spring/Summer.
ОтветитьWhen you go to spray paint the chairs, I'd suggest getting a primer that converts rust to paintable primer. A nifty product that I discovered in the last couple of years.
ОтветитьLove the color you chose for those pots!! When you are ready for a new rug Christmas Tree Shops usually always has great prices on the outdoor ones and you can buy online. However they are closed right now due to the virus.
Ответить👌
ОтветитьIt looks fantastic! Well done! For the rust on the chairs and table, if they are metal - try steel wool with some dish soap and scrub away the rust. It works on bikes too!!!
ОтветитьThe result was great! Looks brand new anf will look better eith some spray paint on the table and chairs! Keep it on girl!
ОтветитьAs people always say: a little goes a long way.
ОтветитьI don't know this particular power washer, but ones that I know have a warning to not use for a certain amount of minutes straight. A few seconds of not pressing in between is good enough, it's just a preasure safety thing. You might already be aware of this but thought I'd say it anyway so that it doesn't deteriorate over time or good forbid something happen to you guys
ОтветитьI cheered up our back patio last night. I put out a fresh outdoor rug and nice pillows I had from last year. The flowerpots are stunning! Such a nice family space you have created. I have perennial deer and drought herb plants and natural grasses to set out at the end of the week, down by the mailbox down on the curb. A small touch of welcome. I was able to get my chores done today but had a case of the I =don’t- wannas.... Earned my nap though.
ОтветитьIt looks less cluttered and MUCH better! Congratulations on your "new" patio! :)
ОтветитьThe satisfaction of a power washer 😍
Also painting the pots makes for a more cohesive look and it's okay for you to buy stuff that you actually use (and that looks nice 🤩).
Maybe a creative project for you and even your kids could be creating garlands/colorful outside decorations. After all it's a place for family and it should reflect your happiness and add to it 😘
It's so inviting!! I haven't been out to my back patio much since the shelter in place and when I ventured out this week...a jungle of weeds! It's going to be a project to get cleaned out, yours is inspiring~
ОтветитьWOO HOO
Love it.
FYI for future painting projects. Dont spray on your concrete where it is hard to get off, spray on your lawn :-)
The grass grows and you literally cut off the paint. If the grass is long or plush and you are worried about getting the bottom, put newspaper or a piece of cardboard down.
Power washers are the best. We have had one for about 25 years now and cant imagine being without it. Cleans the siding, our walkways, concrete around the pool...best invention ever.
It looks fabulous!! Last year I painted my patio chairs. They look brand new. In fact, when my family came over, they thought they were new!! Love it! Keep trucking on with your fabulous self!
ОтветитьWe used to break up broken clay pots into bits and put some in the bottom of other pots to help with drainage.
ОтветитьLooks wonderful🤩
ОтветитьLooks beautiful! I really like your new doormat too. I power washed our small patio this past weekend and put out our two chairs with foot stools and a small table between them and my husband and I have already enjoyed the space. We definitely expect to spend a lot of time out there during Quarantine.
ОтветитьLooks awesome 👏
ОтветитьWow girl you and hubby really going to town congratulations
ОтветитьIt looks lovely. One day, when your boat comes in, wouldn't it be lovely to have patio doors into the kitchen and a pergola over the patio? Of course you'd have to redesign your kitchen too. Doesn't hurt to dream. xxx
ОтветитьThat looks great. 👏👏👏 Flower pots are gorgeous. Oh ya paint the furniture and please do a before and after. Enjoy that lovely sun spot 🌞
ОтветитьI swear to god I'm crying right now
I'm so happy for you '")
