Been using the same silicone blades for years, only just replaced them because the plastic clips cracked.
ОтветитьBosch over rainX
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьI've never heard of simonize wiper blades but a store called Ollie's had some for $4 a piece. They've been on 6 months with no problems.
ОтветитьThey use to sell refills for a dollar. I guess they lost money on them.
ОтветитьI got wiper blades from my Subaru dealer and they last all winter and I still have them. I bought them in September .
ОтветитьI learned two things today, 👍
ОтветитьJust compare AutoZone vs Walmart stock share prices 😂
ОтветитьThanks Scotty
ОтветитьWisdom!!
ОтветитьI need Scotty to fix my car 😂
ОтветитьHere in Phoenix, you buy wiper blades when it rains on you. Then you do it again the next time it rains and you discover they dried up in the 115 degree weather.
ОтветитьSNL funny
ОтветитьThanks Scotty
ОтветитьNice video scotty
ОтветитьThey quit selling the blade refills for the same reason. You could replace a pair for less than buying one whole assembly. CROOKS!
ОтветитьWipertech is a great silicone blade company, worth the few dollars more due to longevity. You're the man Scotty❤
Ответить10 years and still going strong
ОтветитьI buy the cheapest wiper blades. The last pair lasted 6 years. Clean them every other month with a single wipe, followed by a little spray siicone on a rag.
ОтветитьSame !
ОтветитьPlanned obsolescence, light bulbs can last much longer, too
ОтветитьYou can also just replace a rubber .
Just puch it in slightly and slide it out.
It is called wiper blade refill.
It is like 4-8 bucks for a good one ( Bosch)
Pretty sure they sell them at auto parts stores. What are you on Scotty?
ОтветитьWalmart has them. Mine have been on 4 years.
ОтветитьBought my Volvo two years ago. Previous owner must have bought these, because I still haven’t needed to change them!
ОтветитьThank you 🙏
ОтветитьThank you! I didn't know anything about them, my next blades are going to be the silicone ones.
ОтветитьAs a manager at an auto parts store I can say this is 100% not true. We have always offered silicon blades and all major auto parts store do. Scotty is just blowing smoke
ОтветитьRegular ones only last a few months?
ОтветитьI love you! Your my “Hero!”. Because I’m a woman, they tell me so much crap! Thanks for your advice!
ОтветитьRight!
Those silicone wiper blades last a very long time
What about silicone tires? :))
ОтветитьI’ve had the silicone ones. AZ summers kill them too. If the summers don’t, driving through flying ladders, coolers, boxes of nails and other various construction debris on our Highways here will…..along with your car.
ОтветитьMy oem. tundra blades lasted me like 3 years
ОтветитьScottie knows his stuff💪
ОтветитьToyota oem are great

ОтветитьMy wipers burnout every summer in the Antelope Valley desert summer heat, have to replace them every fall.
ОтветитьSeriously! I moved to FL from WA last year and have gone through more blades here than the previous 13 years. I’ll give these a shot and see how they hold up to this brutal sun.
ОтветитьNever replace your wipers on a new car, just go to the parts department where you bought the car and ask for wiper inserts. It's only the rubber blade. WAY CHEAPER.
ОтветитьScotty better be careful that he doesn't get on the wrong side of the Big Wiper Blade conglomerate.
ОтветитьThank you Scotty, I bought silicon wiper blades for my wife's car and my daughter's car. It's been a few years and they are still good. Wow what a difference.
ОтветитьAnd not only last longer, but you can replace the actual silicone blade for pennies ... The frame can work for years.
ОтветитьScotty, Scotty, Scotty...
Advance sells RainX silicone blades.
Auto Zone sells RainX silicone blades.
CarQuest sells RainX silicone blades.
My local Ford dealer sells RainX silicone blades.
They're all over the place.
You usually do a lot better than this.
Everything. And I mean everything is a freaking scam these days. I'm tired of it.
ОтветитьYes &:they can be repair with silicone gasket maker black oil ,, n work like new ,,
ОтветитьThank you🙏🏼
ОтветитьScotty is a Secret Agent for consumers. My hero!
ОтветитьI can confirm, this is true
