I paid and downloaded the Steven slate 5.5 but it is absolutely impossible to register it and manage with the ilok they make it so that you forget your info locked out and you have to buy it all over again what a scam

Hands down Steeven, greatest Snare samples ever recorded to my ears. Usable for any genre. Completely transformed the sound of my mixes. SSD 5 upgrade is one of the Best purchases I have ever made for my studio. I just wanted to say thank you very much for your generosity and for the legacy you are leaving to us, rock mixing engineers, producers and musicians.

the one shots are not showing up, my other expansions are is there an update from the 2.0.30 audio centre, since the 5.5 everything else looks good sounds killer

Great work Steven!!!! Until now I was always a bit reluctant to add one shot samples, kinda thought it would kill the natural dynamics, but this little tutorial has made me think otherwise. Now I am a very happy SSD5.5 user (Great very affordable drum plug in btw) gonna start doing this to some of my projects and see where it takes me. Great stuff!!

Always get worried about making stuff too big with mixing samples in.

So great! However, the problem with using those deep snare one shots with that original high snare is that when the ghost notes occur, it’s a totally different snare sound. All the drums sound great, I just try to use one shots that match the original snare a bit more.
