I'm guessing there is a massive profit maqrgin on Legend suspension because it's the worst suspension I've ever seen. Incredibly harsh ride and the stock suspension is so much better for street riders. If an upgrade is wanted I highly recommend Wilbers. I wouldn't use legends if you gave it to me.

Imagine buying a Corvette and you have to immediately change the exhaust, steering wheel, seats, lights, and air intake.... Harley needs to get their shit together.

I would say one of the biggest upgrades that could be done on a Harley is upgrading the crappy plastic fuel inlet elbow on the carburetor to a full brass one. Every Harley I have ever worked on leaks from that fitting.

First is the shift linkage... It will fall apart within the first year of owning your New Problem. Second, Go back and ask Nicely for a Refund.. The crankshaft run out will be your next problem, if the front cylinder Jug doesn't Crack at the base. The so called Cubic Inch for the Engine, is how many Problems Plus Recalls your going to deal with..

New shocks for my Harley 900.00, New exhaust for my HArely 1500.00, New handlebars 800.00. Having the aftermarket guy tell me all the shit I need to buy in order to make my new 28,000.00 motorcycle better, priceless!

First thing you should do is get rid of that harley and get a real bike.

Some of this depends on how old your buke is. My 96 road King was loud enough right from the factory.

You don’t need to tune the M8 Motor with a Stage 1 kit, the stock ECM is is enough.

I did all that to mine except for the cam and the seat but I did add forward controls and a different front end I had to sell it to save my house from going into foreclosure so sad

This is all coming from the biggest aftermarket Harley parts company. I agree there are some upgrades to do but none of the stock items are garbage like this bozo explains.

Engine guards front and back must be the very first modification. LED lights all around are a must. Love my Custom Dynamics turn lights.

1st Thing. Don't get a bike that still can't keep the oil in the crank case. 2, stay away from companies that have 2x the lawyers than engineers. 3rd, DEFINITELY never purchase a motorcycle from a TEE SHIRT SHOP.
