Best Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Exam Combinations

Hi. If I have a CCNA but didn't land a job yet, do you recommend that I study for the CCNP Security? Would they hire me for a security role without any experience? Thanks.

One question: isn't it true that if I first study the CCNP Enterprise (and learn enough to pass the actual exam), then learning all of the concepts of all other tracks is going to be easier? Dean, do you know how long it will take before you receive the CCNP Enterprise cert after passing the second exam? I passed encor last week and have the tshoot (before it was replaced by ENARSI). I passed encor before my tshoot got expired. However, i still do not have my CCNP Enterprise cert.

I think it's difficult to say. There isn't one single course that is the "best to pursue". It all depends on your 1. career goals, 2. your employer's requirements & 3. the market in which you are located and maybe most importantly, 4. what you find enjoyable personally

Thank you, Dean, very nice explanation. I currently have CCNP EI and Sec. I had to go through 4 rigorous exams before I got my CCNP Sec. Thank God it's getting "easier" right now because you can choose what topic interests you and move on.
I have questions because my CCNPs will get expired, I'm planning to get a Cyber Ops Professional cert or DevNet Professional to extend my P certifications. Can my CCNPs get extended after I get either CYBROPS or DevNet Professional cert?

This is the sign I have been waiting for, so CCNP Security it is! 😁😄
