Thank you😇🙏
Ответитьplease make a video on useSWR()
ОтветитьOmg I’m too dummy. I can’t find simplicity on that.
Ответитьis it ok to use it with axios?
ОтветитьImagung using this library in a project and then being forced to use Angular for another 😢. I really miss the simplicity of React, in Angular you have to do a whole ceremony to fetch data
ОтветитьAmazing bro. Amazing. You just explained what chatGPT wasn't able to do for me.
ОтветитьFantastic. I actually watched this 0.5x. The guy behind React Query is brilliant.
Some of react just feels like brain spaz. Like something as fundamental as global state should have been simple from the jump.
Thanks!
ОтветитьCan anyone please explain why would react query replace redux. I understand for managing state related to apis, it's better. But redux is also reponsible for non async actions' state within the app. How does react query replace that?
ОтветитьWhat is the difference between "status = loading" and "isFetching"?
ОтветитьWhy is there @DONFANTASTICKYPESS in your video? 😀😀😀
ОтветитьI was using SWR but this just looks like a better version of it, honestly pretty dope
ОтветитьName change
ОтветитьI will send this video to my fellow developrs I hope you do to. I'm butthurt of getting on a new project and findingout that damn redux-saga is used when the whole website is literally set of forms where no complex scenario could exist. Some developers are lazy enough to think about the goals and the tools where power/complexity balance is appropriate. They just use the same damn libs that they have been used for 5 years for every single project.
ОтветитьGood explanation but you are speaking too fast unfortunatly! :(
ОтветитьAbandon Redux!
Let's embrace React Query!
I really like that actually
ОтветитьReact Query is sooooooo good 👌
ОтветитьI am currently developing my first web app product and struggling with useContext hook. I cannot describe how thankful I am that I came across your vid.
ОтветитьCome on. Ember did this with Ember Data before RQ became cool!
Ответитьthanks
ОтветитьGreat Video.
ОтветитьI avoid useeffect for anything but basic data transformation. Useeffect really becomes annoying to use with stuff like fetching
ОтветитьDAMN! that is amazing
Ответить"every child ... can fetch ... like a pro". nice one.
ОтветитьI was accidentally watching it at 1.25x and didn't even notice.
ОтветитьIt'd be cool if you could also review Redut-Toolkit-Query & compare it to React-Query
ОтветитьThanks!
Would please tell me what is the VSCODE theme you are using?
Is there something similar for Vue?
ОтветитьIs it better than SWR (which was created by the makers of NextJS)?
ОтветитьI love your channel. As a backend guy there is so much to know and learn about front end and this channel helps me stay updated with the front end tech.
ОтветитьMy god this is beautiful
ОтветитьOne thing I don't understand is why people hate redux 🤔 ? Yes, the OG redux is too much boilerplate and that's why we have RTK that abstracts a lot of it.
I've used it in one big project. RTK did not seem to make me hate anything about how redux manages state. It's far better than using context and reducers hooks. And if you are using RTK, it provides Query as well, so you really don't need react-Q in this case.
If you have used RTK, can you tell me why you hate it ? Maybe I can get a better understanding of what's something that I'm missing
Been using it since 2020 I think, been in love since then.
ОтветитьDoes It work with Apollo graphql?
Ответитьhow is this compare with SWR from verbal ?
ОтветитьOnce again another clean work of art
Ответитьok i got nothing
ОтветитьWAIT, you're saying that we don't need to use hundreds of files to manage a user and a list of products? No thanks, we love to manage and watch our redux infinite tree
ОтветитьI love this channel so much to describe! It's impossible not to understand the videos, the methodology here is crystal clear and pleasant to digest. Keep rocking, guys!
ОтветитьWe recently migrated from Relay to React Query. It is a massive improvement and is so much more readable.
ОтветитьWhy did I just hear of React Query now? God damn, I'm going to start using this.
Ответить
