So I tried playing ASSASSIN'S CREED UNITY In 2023...

Mirage is such a disappointment. I personally did not like it. The combat was awful, the parkour was just as bad. Like others have stated in the comments it’s Valhalla with different skins. I actually deleted it and went and download black ship and I’m having so much more fun with that.

I’m Playing the assassin’s creed games in order and I just got to Unity…. I love the Graphics and Parkour. I hate the combat, and a lot of the missions.

I just finished AC Mirage and came here to see a little about Unity because it felt a lot like it. I love Mirage because you can truly just stealth your way through it, but more importantly learning about the history of Baghdad and the way you go about it, taking in all the sights is the best part of the game for me. I’m installing Unity, I think the parkour is still better in Unity.

I’ve played almost every single AC game but I have not played this one. I just bought it as I type this comment since it’s on super sale for $9. My favorite AC is black flag 🏴‍☠️

I just started playing ac unity, and for someone who hasn’t played any ac games, i find this game good.

I just want cowboy assassins creed, hidden blade revolver? Horseback hoppin, big hat poppin, wild west robbin? Come onnn dude i know we have red dead but AC could do such a cool version of the time period and templar conquistadors would be very on theme

Dragon Age Inquisition was the last game I ever paid $60 for. The last I ever pre-ordered. I loved it. This is the most I've ever heard anyone hate it.

I think the collective system fits Unity the best bc it was so much fun to just parkour around to the next thing i think unity is the game where i almost never used the fast traveling system

Why don’t Ubisoft return to these games to remaster them for modern times? 60fps, graphics rehaul, they’d be more popular than the current ones

No other game is as immersive as Unity. It completely sells the idea of being an assassin in revolutionary paris

If only they gave the devs a couple years to flesh out everything from the gameplay to the story, it could've rivalled Ezio's trilogy. The story had great foundations, but the execution was terrible. Arno's character arc could've been fleshed out or just brought back to the drawing board.

Looking back at Unity, I'm mixed about it. But feeling mixed is kind of an improvement as I once viewed this as possibly the worst AC game before the franchise moved towards the RPG era. Now-a-days, replaying this game reminds me of what AC used to be, or at least has those elements.

Some of the negatives I had back in 2014 are still negatives today. The story feels mediocre, and the main character just isn't interesting when compared to Ezio or Edward. But in terms of gameplay (after the bug fixes), the open world, and old-school parkour, it's actually not bad. Even the graphics are better than the stuff being made today. And I admit that I was a little too hard on this game when it came out.

Do I consider Unity a good game? Not really. A bad game? No. A fun game? Yes.

After UNITY, the AC series went downhill ! Sorry but Origins and what came nexts werent really AC games ! (My opinion)

personaly i never been a fan of steath games so i like the newer ac games more. stealth feels like an after thought i dont think thats good either. also i miss parkour.

Really want to get 100% achievements on this but it’s so hard to get a friends to do the co-op with me

Look I’m new to the series, played Odyssey, Valhalla and Mirage. These old AC games suck. The new ones are great.

This game was awesome. I never understood the dislike for it because i didnt really run into bugs compared to the later games. The parkour just felt amazing and honestly for me thats like 25% the formula for a good assassin creed game.

I’m currently playing through unity (first time) and it definitely feels great to play but tbh the setting, clothing and architecture just isn’t cool or interesting at all to me, I’ve played most AC games and origins is still the greatest most beautiful looking imo, I’m playing through it again atm too. They really should build the next classic AC game with unity in mind

Other than the bugs and a few inconsistencies, i dislike the fact when you drop a smoke bomb (or try to) everyone detects you and you cant use your hidden blades in the smoke. So frustrating

I disagree with the idea that Arno is the “new ezio” or trying to be because ezio was very charming and got all the ladies per say but Arno is very cocky and he’s only really ever gone after one girl and barely manages to bag her. I think if you detach him from that idea he might become a lot more relatable than ezio because personally I get no bitches. 🤷‍♂️
