MPC Live II | Slicing Samples

Question- On my Mpc key 61 chop mode I have to hold pad 1 in order to hear the part before hitting pad 2. How do I fix it where when I hit pad 1, the sample continues to play before hitting pad 2.

I’m using an mpc live (the first model and not the II). When I go to create a beat behind the sample chop, they cut each other off as if they r in a mute group, but they r not and i can’t figure out how to stop it. Any help would be appreciated!

Hey Andy can you help please, I've chopped up my sample (16 slices) converted it to new drum track selected new drum track and assigned it, but pads are not lit up and play nothing. In sample edit the pads work fine. I'm using One not live.

In sample edit I've made 8 chops but when I go to main I'm only getting pad one and if I chop 16 pads in sample edit I'm only getting 7 pads playing my chopped samples, is there something I'm missing?

I don't get why they went for 4 different zoom increment values and having to use 3 differnt q-link pages to adjust start, end & zoom level instead of one q-link page with start, end, zoom, scroll. Would have been a lot faster.

Is there a way to chop a second sample and convert it to the same program as the first one? maybe assigned to the pads on the b or c page?

Can you slice samples so that the endpoint goes past the start point of the next partition, without affecting the next partition's start point?

The pad mode for chopping is excellent,but for faster workflow I’d love seeing an option to auto-adjust the slice to nearest transient . Something like a mix of transient detection and lazy chop :)
