Thank you, Adam for continuing your discussions with FOO owners. It is always soothing to hear Overkill Bill's honest comments and very helpful! 🤓 I had the same infotainment glitching on the main screen while driving - flickering, blanking out. I did a soft reset while driving and it cleared... for now... this concerns me also... but happy the soft reset worked while driving. The unknown is always worrisome but like Overkill Bill, I am keeping mine for now. I am a first EV owner and I love the drive but the glitches are annoying and hoping we do not have to live with these glitches forever.... anxiety and tolerance level is key. One needs to choose what works for their individual situation. People like to label things as right and wrong, it should be whatever works for individual situations. Everyone is unique. We adapt. Thank you so much for the honest discussion! I will continue to watch your very informative videos! 😎

If you love your ocean and don't want to dump it, and praying for the best in the future, why not buy a second one for 15K, if they get to that used, in case you need parts in case of a wreck.

Believe it or not I am still toying with a purchase. I am focusing on an Ocean One. I found one that was traded in and was at $42k. I had no interest at that price. It dropped to $39 and then I was able to talk it down to $35k. But as things tumbled with Fisker I held back. Now we are talking $33,900 but, with the risk involved I am now discussing removing that Dealer Doc Fee. Dealer Doc Fees in California, which I live in Arizona, I believe are limited to $85. I do not know why or how a dealer can convince you that filling out electronic forms to create docs comes in at $699 or more. So, if that $699 is dropped do I go for the Ocean One, which is fully maxed out specs (Big Sur Blue - which I actually am not a fan of. Gorgeous color but requires extra care, and the Sea Salt which also requires extra care being a light color). But anyway, if they eliminate the dealer doc fee I'm still not sure as the risk are many. The windshield, I've heard the door handle inserts have melted with another Arizona owner and it hasn't even hit over 100 degrees here yet, BUT it will. I saw 2 owners with Solar Sky roofs with cracks. I do feel that the note holder is sucking all cash from the Ocean sales where sales of the remaining Oceans, that cash, or part of it, should be spent on the early adopters to support service, warranty, promised perks, roadside assistance. Seems like every penny is going to the note holder. At some point I hope there is an investigation and if there is no financial recovery, I hope the negligence and fraud leads to jail time. What I mean by fraud is that sales contracts included roadside assistance, warranty, etc. This was a contract signed by 2 parties. Fisker is now in breach of these contracts with no countersigned in acceptance of changes. There needs to be accountability and a legal solution which needs to be satisfied.

I kinda feel the same as a FOO owner. We have another vehicle and don't drive either that much and the car is garage kept. We also have a 2015 Subaru (funny) but like most owners, feel disappointed and irritated in the company. We will have to move out of the country in the fall and are considering selling it.

There is an OCEAN ONE for sale at the local Chevy dealer, they are asking 37K, I offered 10K, no go! I am surprised by the Honda, you bought a car and that dealer can't service you, scary, and shady, I would be concerned. Thank you for the content and information.

Now that a tech got my car issues all addressed last week I really enjoy my FOO. There aren’t many (Lucid?) other EV’s that have the goodies that are in the Ocean(CA mode, 360 mile range, Hollywood Mode, comfortable seating, fit and finish) .for the price (even better with todays prices for Fisker’s). You have discussed the issues we are all experiencing very well. Did I miss a video where you traded in or sold you Fisker? I saw the Honda video but I don’t remember how you got rid of your Fisker.

It’s not only the Ocean that suffers from the “Charge port open” warnings - my 2021 Mini Cooper S E (and many many other owners in Europe) get that message too but it gets fixed under warranty here. I was going to replace my Cooper S E with an Ocean in March/April but Adam’s warnings about the company’s precarious financials made me rake a step back to wait and see what happened. I had two test drives and loved the car, especially the ride on 22” wheels as I am used to owning air suspended Range and Land Rover cars for the last 30 years. If you are still keen on an Ocean sized car that is as well assembled and rides as well I would highly recommend that when (if) the NEW Mini Counttyman S E comes to the USA you go for a test drive. I have one of the first new Countryman EVs delivered in the U.K. and it’s not a small car at all - in fact it’s 11cm longer than my 2023 Land Rover Defender 90. It rides beautifully, is AWD all the time , it’s 65kWh battery is enough for 220 miles range at highway speed and it’s really well put together by BMW at their factory in Leipzig. I’m making my first ever EV road trip this weekend in it - 450 miles round trip.

I think if you bought a FOE at $37.5K or less and never owned the FSRN stock, your perspective with the vehicle is totally different than the folks that paid full price and got killed on the stock. Love the vehicle at $37.5K and have less issues with it than when I first got my Model Y.

just to get in a few months later when they are already cheaper.

Fisker have the highest residual value cause the 100 kWh battery is worth at least 20k if you get the canbus adapter right to directly charge those batteries from solar power system - I mean highvoltage. A swedish guy had done that before, as he had powered a tugboat with 4 id 4 batteries.
And every Fisker One will save a lot of others due to the value of the spare parts - even all the glas / screens.

No good answers, loose loose situation.

I ultimately did not buy, lost a $2k deposit but SO BE IT. Many many reasons. I saw door handles that have deteriorated, solar sky roofs that cracked, windshield which can't be replaced, 12v failures that - worst case immobile, best case need a tech to recalibrate the doggie windows (IF you can get a tech). I tried, out of curiosity to call the service phone number. Was on hold 56 mins and got disconnected, tried again and on hold for 1hr 6min and I hung up. Warranty in question, part on back order with no in stock date, roadside assistance cancelled and zero, absolute zero communication from ANYONE except to toot their own horn for opening of dealer networks. The firesale Oceans money should be going to support the existing customers NOT lining the note holders pockets. This is greed, disrespect, and insult to the owners. Never EVER seen a company like this and I never plan to ever again. I hope someone gets jail time.

Warning about only using the Ocean occasionally, you need to keep the 12V battery charged, and it appears that is not happening when the Ocean is asleep. All sorts of issues occur when your 12V is low voltage. I've had mine replaced twice already

I can appreciate that bill isn’t having a lot of issues now and doesn’t see reason to sell it… but really he should. The future is looking extremely bad to say the least. Eventually no one will want this thing, even worse than the demand now. So why hold on to it? For the memories? The memories of the snake oil salesman who lied to everyone? Get out now while you still can Adam you did the right thing. The Honda will be very reliable. And. You know Honda is there for you

Curious as to why you chose the ultium platform, especially after the initial battery/infotainment issues. Ford's Mach-E does a lot of things great and the build quality is better than most... Three years of ownership so far and the only expenditure has been a set of tires and one visit to the dealer to do a non OTA firmware update.

On March 28 I went to "Fisker Center +" in Vista, CA, 20 minutes north of me in San Diego. A former Auto Nation, it opened last December as a service center for the Ocean. The place was packed with nearly 100 spotless Ocean's. I got to speak at length with both Service Managers, getting answers about the latest performance issues from a service perspective. Then in April I had an Ocean Extreme in the rare Stealth Green color configured for me on the Fisker app, and was contacted by someone from the Manhattan Beach HDQ. She emailed with me for a week, then suddenly disappeared. The next week another person from HDQ contacted me to continue the process towards purchase. A week later he disappeared as well. 3 weeks ago a salesman at The Lounge in LA contacted me and we continued the unusually long process towards purchase. Originally my Buyers Order included a $375 delivery fee, the vehicle coming to me from Huntington Beach. Then last week the delivery fee increased to $850.... he told me that the vehicle was now located in the San Francisco area, even though it's been allocated to me. I asked to have the delivery fee returned to $375, to no avail. On Monday he was supposed to send me final documentation to complete the purchase, but he too has disappeared. 2 days ago I returned to the Fisker Center near me to inquire into the viability of parts and service moving forward. The place was a ghost down, with only a few Ocean's remaining, their window stickers gone, dusty and with cobwebs on the wheels. I spoke again to one of the Service managers, and inquired into the status of 2024 Ocean's and if those vehicles would be stripped of parts to repair 2023 vehicles. He told me that there were no 2024 vehicles in existence, to which I replied that the other Service manager told me in March that those vehicles were completed but on container ships. The nearest dealer-partner to me just opened in Newport Beach, and he told me all dealer partners will be servicing Ocean's, and must offer that by law. I didn't bring up the fact that Classic Fisker in Atlanta doesn't offer service. He came from a 12 year career with Tesla in their service department, so I figured he knew what he was talking about. He then backtracked on his assertion that 2024 inventory doesn't exist, and that Newport Fisker has been receiving 2023 vehicles from his location and 2024 vehicles from ports in LA. He finally offered that there is an enormous amount of Fisker parts in Europe that had been slated for Ocean production; additionally, he offered that his post-Fisker exit strategy is to join with several partners and investors (that he's already in the works with) and import these Fisker parts at huge discount, to then sell to service centers at dealer-partners. If he's actually telling the truth, current owners may not have to worry at all about parts to repair their vehicles. But given my short Fisker journey these past 3 months, I'm inclined to disbelieve everything from anyone currently or formerly with Fisker.

I had a tech come to my home this past week to fix a couple of things including a broken California mode and sunroof as well as a 12-volt battery problem, event problem and incomplete 2.0 update. As far as I understand from the tech, there may be a 2.1 or a 3.0 update that could come out, but I'm skeptical. The 3.0 update would have to be handled by a tech and that tech would be required to go to each ocean and set it up which would require a total of 8 hours. This 3.0 would be of great benefit according to the tech and the indications of how clean it would make the vehicle in terms of software performance thing. So I am of the semi-optimistic or cautiously optimistic point of view, but it does seem like a bit of a crap shoot. I hope that Fisker us to be able to get to the point where we can get this 3.0 update. I would like to congratulate Adam on his new Honda prologue. I unfortunately will be staying with my Fisker at this point. However, I am looking into other avenues.

Please stay on Fisker! We need you. We've gotten so much good information from you. Also, the tip about contacting the California Attorney General is great. One thing that keeps me worried is not having an extra key fob. A Fisker tech told us that they are supposedly working on the NFC card, but he couldn't tell us when they would be released. Big fears about losing or damaging the key fob and no longer having the ability to drive the Ocean. Great perspective from your guest... and continued great information from you. Also, watched your video with your wife driving the new Honda Prologue. We saw a Chevy EV Blazer about a week ago. Interesting. Appreciated your comments about Chevy and Honda.
