Licensed nail tech and companies that term you that you can only use their specific " lamp" for a product to work. They're always bullshitting you to make you spend more money with them

Tbh I noticed when a mail is dark the if light can’t go through to cure it I doubt these work anyway but I’d try with a clear

I tried a different brand and yes, same here, the nails do not cure hard.. I think that these are more designed for people who already have long nails and not meant for us no-nail chicks. 😞

It states that it is a sticker. Not meant for length. They are technically called wraps. And I’m thinking you should have done some research first.

They're supposed to cover your actual length of the nail and seal them in with a gel top coat. They aren't meant to be like acrylic or gel tips. 🤦

I AM GONNA TAKE A GUESS THAT YOU FORGOT TO REMOVE THE CLEAR WRAPPING THATS ON THE OUTSIDE IF EACH GEL STICKER BEFORE CURING….

I thought you were supposed to remove the excess that is not on a nail.

I'm sure i'm not the only one who was hoping this would work. I can't get regular nails at a salon anymore, as my skin is now sensitive to all the chemicals they use, and i get an allergic reaction. Well, i guess i'll be waiting for the next great invention, ITM!

these are viral but are they worth the hassel , they have copied the old sticker wraps which were so much better. These gel wraps are a waste of money and they do not go hard like hard gel like a gel acrylic.
You have demonstrated that realy well in your video. i have see some reall nice blue ones but you have saved me some money i will not be purchasing these as whats the point to cut them.all.the way down and yiu cant leave them long you have cut the sticker to the size if your natural nail so its short nail with a sticker on. You wouod be better of spending money on a nail polish and painting them. Thank you for sharing

This is why I am wanting to open my own nail wrap buisness 🙄 These are only meant for easy no painting/design nails that you can do quickly. These are not extensions and they are scamming people that dont know any better! You are supposed to prep your nails. You need to push back cuticles, clean up nail bed and remove shine, apply dehydrator or alcohol, apply no acid primer and let dry and if you have oily nail beds and problems with nails lasting use 2 coats and let dry, apply base gel and cure, apply gel nail wraps and file at the nail free edge to remove extra (I find it easier) and then cure, and now use a good gel top coat. You can put these over nail extentions, but that obviously will change what you need to use and the steps so proper research on what your using is absolutely needed for you to have long lasting nails. Companies that do this aggravate me because not everyone will know and will waste money finding out its a scam and will think they did something wrong, but the company just swindled you out of extra money for their special light thats only meant to flash cure! This definitely gives me reassurance that I need to open my own wrap buisness especially with companies like this, who are out there doing this to people!

I don’t get why people are expecting a product to work differently then it is intended. I’ve used semi-cured gel stickers for about 2 years now and they are designed to look like gel polish NOT builder gel. If you want to extend your nails do so with builder gel NOT semi-cured. I’m literally wearing a set as we speak. They last on me for about 10 days.

Try using UV gel on them! That's what I would do! And hold the lamp a bit away I think that's what's contributing to the bendy-ness. These are honestly now gonna hold up tho. Totally a nail sticker. A good no paint option

Nail stickers never work as nail extentions.... nail stickers are meant as a stick on layer of nail polish not as a nail extention. So yeah they are totally lying and scamming via false claims.... please talk to a real nail tech whom has been doing nails for atleast 5 years n has all around experience in nails... they will telly ou the same thing.... try poly gel which is meant for nail extentions... it comes with forms and many colors to choose from.....

Wrapping your natural nail is the best way to go. It is super annoying when products claim to do things that they totally can't do.

Did you charge it?

I used a SCG wrap for the first time today. It cures hard for sure but no where near the hardness of hybrid, false tips, or poly gel. It’s just gel polish with an adhesive! Nothing more than that.

Hey you are such a good example for beginners I have some but I got them from the dollar store idk what i should do because I have a blue light but I don’t think it would cure it

What if you add a top coat a few times

I think you are supposed to cut them down to fit your actual nail and you should use coconut oil or some other type of oil to remove them and not just peel them off.
