I spent the rest of the time during the technical test messing around with the pistols and this particular sniper rifle the R93. I could be wrong but to me it seemed like they pulled back on some of the excessive bullet drop for the sniper rifles. Also nice to see some of the sensitivity bugs and issues resolved although there are a still few in there and I swear there is something off about the x and y axis sensitivity or viewing movement under certain conditions. I wouldn't really recommend sniper rifles in this game because of the third person movement animations, screenshake, and because of the lack of limb and body penetration. There is a lot working against you in the game with sniper rifles but so much in your favor with ARs, SMGs, and LMGs so I recommend using those. The pistols seem to have been improved although you likely wouldn't use them if you have an AR, SMG, or LMG equipped so not really sure it matters ( Magnum still had trigger delay ).

Please keep in mind the Conquest looking game mode you see in this video is Hill of Iron which is the Conquest versions of the maps but reduced player count ( 32 players total ) and a lot more vehicles so yeah, not the best mode to run around as infantry. Not sure why they have this game mode other than to make a mode for vehicle mains but it's weird to lower the player count and still allow infantry. Also that Trench Lines is too big for only 32 players. The other game mode is Blitz and it's basically the Domination game mode from BF3 or BF4. The reason I brought up the glowing or brighter player models is it makes it easier to find players at range than it is to find them up close. Why is this an issue? Makes it super easier for vehicles and aircraft to see all infantry on the map, isn't 3D spotting already enough?
One thing I did want to bring up again is how both the Unreal Engine and Frostbite Engine have for some reason lost the ability or technology behind being able to show other player's pings/latency on the scoreboard, such an odd coincidence. Something else scoreboard related I have no idea what actions are important because it doesn't appear to be kills or revives or resupplies or spotting. My current guess is for some reason repairing or possibly destroying vehicles has some huge point total or can be used to cheese a point streak ( maybe ). Example screenshots show players with less kills, less objective captures, etc.
https://i.imgur.com/W7jktii.png and this one
https://i.imgur.com/kAPtBcB.png the enemy team? Just pointing it out because sometimes players use the scoreboard to get an idea of whether or not they are doing well or doing good things in the game, the current scoreboard doesn't really make that clear.
Something I don't quite get with gadgets or I guess items in this game is why both the Recon class Operators/Heroes and Medic Operations can equip claymores. Like if they are copying Battlefield shouldn't it be a Recon item? Or is it because the Medic class in this game is also the Battlefield Support class that can drop ammo and that is the reason? If so I would really like it if they'd allow them to equip C4 or some kind of AT explosive. I mean if you're going to copy Battlefield don't go halfway we already have that with COD's Ground War. The other reason why I'd like the Recon to have C4 is because the Battlefield modes for this game are just going to get worse as the developers improve vehicle handling, etc. because the vehicles, tanks, aircraft are already incredibly powerful if they become easier to handle it's going to make BF2042 look good by comparison with the splash damage, across the map damage, survivability, screenshake, resupply boxes only giving one explosive back at a time, killing them is going to require more effort than anyone should be expecting from players in a free to play game.
Holy crap the routing to NA/US servers for NA players is bad. EU people get lower ping to east coast servers than I do.
Something else not critical but I wanted bring it up I don't know why games think they need multiple versions of sprint when they don't really punish for either, just have the one faster version and save resources. Also game mechanics like lean when it's not tied to cover. Followup to that, will the mobile version let players lean spam by rotating the phone left to right?
